The XINHS graphene cable is slightly heavier than most cables but it is very flexible and not stiff at all. The 8 core is quite heavy.
Donāt overthink this. The graphene cable looks and feels great and it also measures the best out of any of my cables. Itās my favorite cable. Most everyone who has purchased one from XINHS agrees. If you want a killer cable, just grab one. Trust us.
I had this graphene cable custom made for the HE6se and the XINHS guy charged me less than a brand new graphene cable and this puppy is 7ā long! After I spoke to him about the custom work, he had the cable built, pictures of it taken and sent back to me and shipped by the time I had woken up the next morning. I had him add money to my bill because I wanted to tip him for all of his time and his custom work. Just contact them on their store and discuss what youād like him to make for you. The guy was amazing to deal with.
UPDATEā¦ be very aware that cable lasted one change and the Z1R MMCX connection failedā¦thankfully I managed to remove this part from the left side thank fuck
I just broke down and tried Xelastic, what is the difference vs Crystal?
I tend to find the correct answer for me is usually the Final Audio Series E or Spinfit CP100. It might be me, but wider bore tips tend to pull the bass back, so the Spiral Dots seemed to take the low end away, and really kill more neutral or harmon target sets.
I am just getting started on this, so I donāt have a full set of tips, just some key highlights, and am sort of on the discovery path now. I basically order a couple pairs of new tips every week, and give them a test. With IEMs it is tips, with watches it was watch bands, this is cheaper and takes less space.
I find cystal to be an upgraded version of xelastic in everyway, but I use none of them.
Fit is bettet, not sticky, slightly wider bore, dont get every particle of dusk glued on, etcā¦ But to achive this kind of sound, I still prefer Radius Deep Mount over anything. Regular Azla Sedna Earfit or spiral dots are nice alternatives.
Check out @Rikudou_Goku 's list. Will explain it better than I can.
Keep in mind tips are personal and affect different IEMs in different ways. Find your own pairings, theres no right or wrongs.
Yeah, the Crystal does everything the Xelastec does but better and without the same cons the Xelastec has (dust magnet and the time it needs before it forms to your ears).
But even then, the Radius Deep Mount tips are still better to me if you want a tip that increases treble.
