Yeah, I have tried them before. It was RNG lol.
I can. The quality of the amp,dac and transducer might have bearing on all of this as well if the rest of your equipment isnât resolving enough.
Same. I have 24bit flac files and I cannot hear any difference between 16 vs 24. 16 Flac is my personal seiling. I canât hear past 16K which is quite good for my age.
Really digging this album on the Mele, standard electronic test for me with anything, bass can get super squiggyâŠ
Just keep in mind the stock tips and cable are garbage. Like, not garbage in comparison to the IEM but garbage in general. So an aftermarket cable and tips are a must.
Wow, your point #4 about metal is damn spot on.
Give me a 16mm woofer DD + tweeter DD.
sayin, whatever size as long as 2 dynamicâŠanxious to see what this Blon Max can do
Yeah, but I really do want someone to copy SonyÂŽs old 16mm DDsâŠaround 10 years and no one seems to have done the sameâŠ
Maybe is hard to replicte the tech
Probably has to do with how they will fit it inside it. Sony did it by basically making it fit like an usb-stick lol.
Only reason Z1R isnt on my list. Bet it sounds like honey.
that is a really odd fit but im sure it can be done, just looking at some of these Thieaudio shells
Sony started using smaller DDs. The XBA-Z5 is the newest iem from them that uses a 16mm (LCP) DD.
XBA-N3 shrunk down to 9mm and the Z1RÂŽs woofer is at 12mm.
Same. The fit looks absolutely horrendous.
Mele fit is very very good. Amongst the best of what Iâve tried.
Ever tried the Koss KDE250 (20mm + 13mm)?
Weird fit, but I like them for sitting absolutely stillâŠ
Bought them on Drop in the beginning of my headphone journey for a lot lower than MSRP:
Oh, and the cable is the usual shitty Koss qualityâŠ
EDIT: Sorry. Off-topicâŠ
Nope, but damn they are big. Seems like back then, size did matter.
Weird flex, but ok.
This old guy owns 2000 pairs of tips, and only uses spinfit
