đŸ”¶ Tripowin X BGGAR Mele

3 weeks with the Mele. Mostly at the office via Tidal or Bandcamp and out of an iPhone.

At night, I take out the big boys, but not today. I was thinking about some nice pairing, especially about the source. iPhone is god damn fine. But what if
?

I ended up with the dongle L&P W2 and a xDuoo X-10T II combo. The xDuoo is digital transport only, but has a very long battery life (20 hours +) and an EQ function that actually works nicely.

The Mele get the « next level » treatment. Slight EQ via the transport and neutral yet spot on amplification/decoding from the dongle.

Enjoying a goosebumps ride at the moment

Chris, once more, thank you. :love_you_gesture:

Losing my mind with this track from DM

Mele + W2 is end-game. For 350 you have one of the best dongles on the market and an amazing budget iem.

Both give me more fun than they should for the price

Yes, I second this. I used to pair the W2 with the ZEN for some months, but the Mele also get pampered as they deserve to be via the W2. Winner team.

Foobar > asio > usb > topping dx3pro V2.

And

Samsung tablet > UAPP > USB/LDAC BT > RADSONE ES100

Thanks. Was just curious since some people claimed that too powerful sources were darkening Mele signature on the treble.

Yes, I remember that. I had the feeling that Mele was colder with my es100 than with the topping. So I a/b tested the topping Vs es100 with Mele, and detected no significative difference.

You’re have better time blaming my ears or my brain for my feedback: I’m just used to cold/bright signatures

Hey, everyone listens and likes different stuff. No shame on preferences

Can’t wait to test the Mele with these. Will listen for the riffs and pedal hits in the first 5 seconds.

You should hopefully enjoy it quite a bit, which is good since the music is probably the most enjoyable thing about season 2
 jk (kind of)

But seriously the guitar rifts are natural and clean and the pedal hits are excellent on the Mele.

Can any one using mele help me try one song how it goes. I am still waiting for mine.

Anyone used Mele for competitive gaming like cs:go?

I would prefer a headphone rather than IEM  And yes I have played competitive titles with IEMs before, but not on Mele.

damn
Mele cant be here soon enough.

I wouldn’t recommend it. Imaging on them is not very good. The first IEM that I found works well for FPS gaming (COD: MW 2019 for me), is the Mangird Tea. I’m sure there are others, but the Mele’s imaging is not competent enough in my opinion for FPS gaming.

For Movies or open world/single player games, they are probably great as the bass is awesome, but I wouldn’t use them for FPS.

You can get Koss KSC75 or Fiio FD5 for gaming, assuming you don’t want closed back headphones.

Mele comparison with 2 IEM.

Widebore Eartips: Spinfit CP100 (4 mm) vs Sedna Light (4.5mm) vs tanchjim T300T (5.4mm). Which is better Mid and treble quality for Mele?

I’ve decided to sell my set. I don’t see a specific classifieds section to this forum, so please let me know if this is the wrong place to post it, but, I have the black pair with only a few days of use on them.

$45 shipped CONUS. Shoot me a PM if interested.
