Would you mind elaborating more about why FH3 is better than SF (and Mele if that’s the case as well) in your opinion? :slightly_smiling_face:

God
just settle on a set :joy:

I am SO happy right now, here’s my sister’s thoughts on the Mele, her first IEMs ever:

That is exactly what I’d hoped for. THANK YOU @hawaiibadboy for the perfect introduction to HiFi that anyone can afford.

Long story short, it had been delivered to the wrong house. Those neighbors got back from vacation and worked it out/were honest. Linsoul took everything very seriously and were impeccable even though it’s all on the couriers. Great rec for them as a company that they handled things how they did.

Looking forward to mine shipping.

Glad it all worked out in the end and she loved! Waiting on your own impressions

I’m sorry, it’s just curiosity

Yes I can. I do want to note that I won’t go into detail and won’t be comparing the Mele since they are in a different price bracket.

I can’t say for other music genres even though I listen to some english and japanese songs but I am explain in more detail about kpop and korean music in general. On the FH3, it is able to handle very busy and complicated lively kpop songs. There are 3 exact songs that goes into my personal stress test and was able to distinguished them easily:

  1. Dreamcatcher ‘What’
  2. IZ*ONE ‘Secret Story of the Swan’
  3. IZ*ONE ‘Panorama’

Using the Starfield, listening to these songs was hard. Dreamcatcher’s ‘What’ sounded dull and muffled the entire song. Vocals felt held back, while I feel the FH3 was able to handle it in a more clear manner due to better imaging and detail.

Both IZ*ONE’s songs felt pretty noisy and jumbled up on the Starfield so I wasn’t having a lot of fun listening to it. The FH3 on the other hand was able to handle them well. Probably it was able to handle imaging of the various instrumentals in the song very well.

I can say the Mele is able to handle them fairly well! If I were to talk about slower songs like Wendy’s ‘When This Rain Stops’, the Starfield does give a slight edge ahead and doesn’t give sibilance, but the FH3 was able to handle it as well due to the details of the vocal forwardness. you won’t feel much difference honestly unless you are really on a critical listening session to extract the minor details out.

If I want to sum it up, Starfield is good for slower songs and easy listening music while the FH3 is able to handle fast songs but the FH3 is also able to handle slower songs wonderfully as well.

Would you say Mele handles busier tracks better than SF?

For my music library? Yes. As for other music genres, you may need to ask the rest. I believe the Aria is in the same vein as the Starfield but I’ve never heard it personally before so the others will have a better take than I am.

What do you guys think the ETA of delivery is? And if I ordered it from somewhere other than Linsoul would it have arrived quicker? (I live in Massachusetts in the U.S.)

No idea, but not for a while. I had an order that was two days after they went live and only in the last week did that become “fulfilled”, but no movement in tracking yet.

Hello Jarpi.

There’s no other way to get it since it’s a linsoul exclusive. You can now buy it through drop.com but it will be even slower, probably. Unfortunetly, Linsoul wasn’t fully ready for this massive wave. Add that to holiday season in China + Covid and you get this slow times. Im sorry to hear.

On the bright side, you gonna probably like it very much for 50usd. Just sucks that people need to wait this much

There is nothing wrong with that

I tried to check the headfi for searching the Mele Review, I only found 2 review page and only 1 review with rating. Why?

It may have something to do with HBB being banned there and some of their reviewers not getting along with him and wanting to shill the products they get free from their manufacturers they’re working with for their reviews.

HIFI Guides is not driven by advertising and advertisers. We are just fans of the hobby discussing our opinions without any/much shilling.

I think we have more freedom of speech here to be able to say what we want without being censured.

I was thinking the same, but in a way to be subtle about it. Nice mic drop, respect.

I’d would also like to remember people that most of orders have not been shipped yet and no review samples were giving. HBB believes in customers giving opinions and they own “hype”, so it gets more trueful.

I ordered them on august 20th and haven’t gotten them yet tho they have been shipped

Yup totally understand! I see the hype for these on this forum alone is pretty crazy, so it’s warranted that the time for them to ship would be long. I am just very excited for these, and was just wondering how long it took for other people.
