I have the same experience with you.
CP 100 bring up the bass and killed the sound stage.

It’s good for thin sounding IEM as you suggested.

Sedna Earfit Light and Tanchjim T-APB T300T. Both have a wide bore tips. Can they provide a more extended upper treble, wider soundstage and airyness in Mele? Has anyone tried rolling to these tips?

Mele treble started to open up on the treble once it have a certain hours of burn in to the driver. The detail of a guitar high notes becomes much more noticeable on keith don’t go - live. Of all the tips that i have the jvc spiral dot ++ helps to increase the treble that is lacking with the original tips. Also one more thing i dunno why the mele with ssr stock cable is better compare to its original cable.

I have not tried them myself but i got a friend that says it add treble more compare to pure silver cable.

So far I really didn’t realize any difference by changing cables unless it’s a rubbish like blons. Switching to nice looking cable feels better but I don’t know regarding the sound change. May be because I don’t have trained ears to distinguish the differences

Yup, unless its rubbish like blon or old KZ brown cable. I don’t exactly hear much of the difference.
Sometimes, its slightly different but i’m having hardtime to pin down what’s the difference.

For the most part, upgrading from 3.5mm to 2.5mm cause the biggest difference.

Its the sound sig preference and tonality+musicality over technicality.

I’ve heard my sound engineer friend expensive iems and its not that great. I understand he prefer dead neutral sound with emphasis on dead, so its just boring to me who prefer fun sound sig
