She loves blue. I see a purchase on 11/11!
My Meles arrived yesterday, i have to say they sound really nice. They are indeed a better Blon03, and for most of the music i listen ( pretty close to BGGAR library) they are better than the Fiio FH3 (3x times the price of the Meles).
Now my classic unlucky part. My unit has a really noticible imbalance, left is much louder than right. Changed cables, left them playing music all night⦠I thought i was going paranoid or something, but playing audio in mono it is totally a imbalance in the iems. Totally unlucky because i love theyr sound signature. Now lets see what DD audio stores answers and i will have to wait ( again) a lot of time to enjoy this little jewels.
Anyway, you nailed it Bad Boy.
Thanks. Tell them I said to take care of you. It may be a filter? If not you should be taken care of. Iām sure you will be
Can you try to remove filters (with a tweezer or something)? I can help you out in the process.
Does your country has a lot of humidity?
I live in the north of spain so yeah, we have some humidity here. Do you guys really think it can be an humidity problem with 5 minutes of use? I mean, they had the problem out of the box. Never replaced or took away a filter, lets see what DD audio says before i do anything with them. Thank you very much anyway guys, really apreciate it. I will post here any info they give me.
Oh then you should be fine, im from Portugal and I should have more humidity than you
Sometimes thereās some coggle up on the stock filters, but they can be replaced very easly
MELE better than FH3ā¦Hahaha. I have both, and it has nothing to do with your statement. I like the MELE sound, but I love the FH3 sound. Less friend, less⦠Letās just be less sincere, without exaggerating, please.
Iād take Mele over FH3 any day. Unless you listen to metal, but for that, just get DQ6 and slap some tanya filters on it.
FH3 is awsome⦠If you hate music
First of all this is not the FH3 thread so lets not take it to far. For me, the strenght of the FH3 is the speed of his bass, and at the same time, i think it is his weakness. That speed makes it an amazing iem for some music and a really bad iem for other genres, for example clasic hiphop albums. They have no āflowā at all for hiphop. On the other hand, the FH3 is awesome for really complex music because it has good separation and speed, but for that kind of stuff i would pick my sundaras over fh3 any day. So for my personal preferences and use of my Iems, i pick Meles over FH3.
Relax, itās all just opinions and enjoyment. Last night I enjoyed Beethoven on my $600 HE6SE, more than I would have enjoyed it with the Mele. Today while working in the garage I enjoyed Dave Matthews on my $50 Mele, more than I would have on the HE6SE. Is one ābetterā than the other? No, itās all just gravy. Enjoy the music
This is good. You mentioned FH3 before I mentioned it, did you forget? If the topic is not from FH3, you were the first to break this rule. And another thing, you can already see that you have a lot of lawyers here to defend you, you certainly suck, which I abhor. And my MELE had the same problem as yours after two weeks of use. I managed to solve the problem. But you are so arrogant that you deserve to go after DD to solve yours. So I treat those who lack humility.

This is the official thread for the Mele
This thread is for discussion and reviews.
That is a great point. I was having a hard time enjoying some live Eric Clapton I was listening to yesterday. I put the HE400se back on the hook, and broke out the the KPH30i w/ the Grado earpads, and then it all sounded just right
I think we all have a few headphones, and IEMs. It is nice to have a reasonable solution for most of the stuff I listen to ( classic rock and progressive rock ), but this has not only dominated my listening time for IEMs, but is my go to IEM when I pack my laptop bag.
In a clear case of behold the awesome power of Mele - I typically work at my in-laws one day a week, so the Mele is capable of drowning out both my mother-in-law and sister-in-law, and letting me get shit done.
PS - I will be ordering the blue ones, because they are awesome looking, and I want a backup pair after the whole IEM in the coffee cups incident. I am saying this knowing that a pair of 7Hz Timeless are arriving on the 15th, and that I am probably going to be blown away by them.
You may be surprised in both directions. The mele has more impactful and dynamic response than the timeless on some music. Absolutely fantastic. If I didnāt already own an ungodly good IEM for dynamic music, the mele would have taken that spot.
Almost exactly the point I was making two posts back about picking the KPH30i over the HE400se for listening to Eric Clapton. It needed something that the planar set couldnāt do, and I am fairly new to magnetic planar headphones. I like the sound, but there isnāt always one answer for anything headphones, IEMs, ear tips, etc.
I want to add that to a review blurb and let that statement sell itself.
- It has triple blah blah
- It has accut blah brrrrrrr
*It is designed to ga ga ga
*It blocks out my wifeās mom so I get some shit done
Thatās deep feels stuff.
