I have the same feelings everytime he posts recordings from MEST in those comparison, as it almost sound unfair. I was on the edge already twice at least because of those videos

Iām just gonna reply once and not continue the argument. Youāve covered my main observations in your reply, but what you said here is the main problem that channel has. He comes to HFGF to dismiss my observations, attempting to paint himself as a honest reviewer. But heās the reviewer on YT that least disclaims his attachment to businesses aka Hifigo. I would have no issues if he does the disclaimer in his vids like all sponsored reviewers do. He rarely says which sets are review units.

I am running shy on patience though. Linsoul has had the benefit of my money for four days now, and aside from a single āthanks for the cash broā Iāve not heard hide nor hair of my order. If this keeps up, I may cancel my order and grab those off AVechangeā¦

I think it is fair for you to critic his relative lack of transparency, but he is transparent from what I understand, even if he doesnāt make it obvious. Still I get your point.
You say he āpaints himself as a honest reviewerā implying he isnāt. Between being dishonest with reviews and being not super obviously transparent about affiliations are around a million shades of grey.
The only thing dishonest I see in all of this are statements like: āHeās never gonna hype a product that he doesnāt profit fromā
I get where you are coming from and I think your point of view is valid, but please, letās keep it real. I am pretty sure it wasnāt your intention, but with statements like these you potentially mislead community members.

So I have been putting about 3-4 hours every day since I have received these and I am addicted! One thing I just noticed however is that the condensation issue I heard about with the Mele seems to be present on the Olina as well. I was just doing some tip rolling and noticed a bunch of moister on the filters. Itās nice that there are spare filters but I hope I wonāt be having to switch them out very often. If so Iāll have to start exploring after market ones

@tkddans great video as always! I really appreciate the comparisons you make. Based on your demo I can totally hear the similarity between the T3+ and the Olina. Iām not sure if its the mesh mod (I know yours is stock) but the Olina sounded a bit thinner in the demo than what I hear. I would love to hear your long term thoughts on the Olina. Also, that Mest is tasty!

if you looked when you ordered it shouldāve said āthis is a preorder shipping may take 2-3 weeksā (somewhere around 3ish days ago that was their estimate) amazon is estimating 2 months for delivery also

While itās true that the metal nozzle does make for condensation, the issue with Mele was only with a run of filters that had the wrong adhesive used in their construction. We have been assured that this was recitifed prior to the final design phase (and subsequent production) of Olina.

So are you saying as far as we know the condensation shouldnāt cause any issues?
As far as we know, yes. Time will be the true decider, but it is possible to have condensation build with no impact on performance.

Iām not the owner of the video 
, Iām just sharing a sound comparison video made by Danās Audio Reviews. To my ears, Between Olina and Mele have similar instrument positions, but Mele has more body on instruments and vocals, has a little more depth, but is lacking in the upper treble. I think putting mesh on the Olina vents is the perfect solution to add thickness to the vocals and instruments, namely to add emphasis in the bass sector. But Iām sure the sound technicality is definitely better Olina than Mele in real life
