Hmm it is recommended but not the highest of praises. Wish he had an Oxygen on hand for comparison rather than relying on memory. It’s interesting that two reviewers so far find the Olina’s technical prowess to be just ok for the price and not reaching Oxygen level…

I think precogs 5 is like 6,5-7/10 of others. He has his normalized distribution of scores offset to lower values and no scores above 9 at all for example

Haha YMMV, and besides that, my knowledge and experience with IEMs pale in comparison to you and all the other reviewers so far. I’ll do a comparison for learning experience, but still also wait for other reviewers to A/B with O2 and other single DDs

As we stand, I’d say it’s a solid A. Olina is giving me something everyday that most sets cant, but keep in mind my library fits it very well.

It’s one of those times I don’t feel the impact going from a 800usd iem to a 100usd and I cringe.

And I say this as truthfully as I can, giving I’m placing it on the same rank as Mangird Tea, and you all know what that means to me.

Precog is the only written reviewer I daily follow. I’m a simp for his takes and I can only aspire to articulate my own takes as good as he does.

I disagree with him 50% of the sets, 100% of the times. We share way different libraries. I still love him and he’s a gatekeeper. He’s harsh, but he’s consistent and that’s a quality I appreciate in any person.

Given that and regarding Olina, I can see where he’s coming from and still have to say that given his track record, a 5/9 on a 100usd set is insanely good. He just gave the same rating to dark magician, and you can easily check my ranking on that one.

I love Theo, I love Olina, I like disagreements. When people disagree, good ideas come out. When everyone agrees… People settle. I don’t like settling.

Yeah, for that budget I’d go headphones every single time. If you had to go with IEMs, maybe the Blessing 2 non-dusk or ThieAudio Legacy 5? Neither are particularly strong there though, you might as well get the DUNU TITAN S or Etymotic ER2SE for less.

A little woried now? Such a big diff? there are reports of Oxygen units that have more sub-bass than others.

Measuring rigs and unit variations combine for a mix bag of results. I think the post 8Khz is the 711 limitation and the bass of mine and Crins v.s. Super and Precog is 02 variation
I used the wayback machine and Shenzen has listed same driver and descript for 3 years without change.

Idealy all of us will upgrade our rigs and we can all sus out unit variiation without question when out tools are same
