I followed one of your tips. I tried closing the vent with transparent tape on the mele (with jelly cable). I felt the bass, vocals, drum hits and a bit cleaner and fuller. Unexpectedly, I could hear the cymbal “cress” more than before.
Congrats again my dude, you put one heck of a product out there! I’m gonna have a great time breaking these in, absolutely money well-spent!

Any issues with driver flex? When I used tape I was also getting a some pressure build up during songs.
They passed the first, most important part of new IEMs; I put them on and flipped through tracks to get a feel for them, and lost myself in the music more than once. Ain’t nothing better than that!

Yes, the crinkling noise occurs only when I press the iem deeper into my ear. But I don’t feel anything bothering and making him uncomfortable. The sound slightly more clear, but the bass became too much. I’ll try a filter to cover the vent
I’m very curious to how all of the shipping and preordering works. Not for probably the best reasons, I almost exclusively order iems through Amazon. That said, when I saw the Olina show up on Amazon I bought it even though shipping wasn’t going to happen until April. I placed the order on Feb 10. Well, they shipped two days ago and arrived today.

How do the blank ones work again?
Is there any mod, tip or whatever to tame a bit (2db) upper highs? the region between 4k/8k seems too much in some tracks (i know technicalies will be affected).

Are these really that good? I tried the mele as a replacement to the bl03 everyone was saying it’s better, which it isn’t at all. The mele had barely any treble, everything was dry and just sounded bland. Also the bass wasn’t even that much neither. Less of the bl03 imo. Midrange and vocals sounded dry and bland on the mele. Treble was non existent. Sounds like I’m listening to music through a thick blanket just covering everything.
I’m just very skeptical about the olina since I was lied to about the mele lol. If I love the sound of say the Focal Elex, oh10, emu teaks, fh3, and hd600’s. Would I enjoy the olina?

Regarding Mele, try to use CP100 or CP145.
