About the biggest difference is that mine has less hip hop. The one exception is that my wife got me into E-40 a bit, they went to high school together in Vallejo. Most of the classic rock songs that you talk about when you do reviews are things that I have been listening to for 40 years. Throw a generous helping of Rush on there, and you have a pretty good picture of my library.
@DaveB I unloaded my vinyl years ago, but I had everything in FLAC before I did that. I replaced my vinyl with CDs in the 90s, and really never looked back. The convenience is tough to beat. I just missed 8-track, but remember my dad having them in a car, and at this point I probably stream about 2/3 of the time and listen from FLAC the rest, and I have to be paying attention to tell the difference.
Got my Olina today and played around with a few albums from my library. Coming from TWSâs and ~30$ chifi, the clarity is just amazing, female vocals really shine and donât get overpowered by bass. Very well spent 100$!
Love the convenience of digital and rarely buy vinyl these days but you donât ditch your vinyl collection when youâve invested in one these beauties to replay them on
Pushing a button will never replace removing vinyl from the sleeve, cleaning it, placing it on the deck and the best bit âputting the needle on the recordâ

Hello, I have received my Olina more than one week ago, but the truth is that I have been enjoying them and I forgot to enter this contest (when I looked for other tips it was that I saw they card on the box and remembered it).
What a good product and outstandig sound⊠Excellent IEM.
Itâs funny how much this kind of things are subjective: I find olina a little bit too warm for my taste. I may be an extreme case, but I think my ideal tuning would be close of the titan S.
I donât think that I can add something new to descriptions about Olina.
One issue have to be pointed out, I havenât realised that I like bright IEMs .
Before Olina, I tried several treble enhanced IEMs without any success. Hence, most of my cheap KZ and CCA are mesh-moded IEMs right now. With Olina and proper tips, CP100+(L) in my case, I enjoying my library with another dimension, thatâs is something unexpected.
Now I know that quality of drivers matter, and even single DD in relative bright IEM might be perfect!
Enjoy Hania Rani, you can not only hear how she plays piano, with Olina you can see it
Hey, finally received my Olina.
Took a bit longer than expected, but still a reasonable 14 days after it has been delivered to courier company in Shenzen.
First impressions:
They are really good sound wise.
Been comparing them with my Blessing 2 for only around 30mins, so, nothing much to say, but I do feel a tad stronger bass and Iâd say that Olina is even brighter than B2.
Sadly, the comfort is a different story.
Where B2 fits almost like a custom made glove and slides right into the ear canal. The Olina has passable comfort only with medium sized included wide-bore tips. The strangest thing is having the IEM so loose and needing to fiddle with it to fit it securely in the ear. Once I set it in, it seems fine.
B2 tips clearly donât fit Olina and the only alternative I have currently is Moondrop Spring tips in S size. They fit decently, but I feel that they lack in sealing and M sized ones could work way better.
Just now been comparing Dire Straits - Sultans Of Swing and can confirm that guitars on Olina do have a more life-like bite to it.
Anyways, like with everything, will need time to adjust to different sound, fit and play around with various tracks as well as probably try the double mesh mod to tame highs, but the fact that it does not shame it-self against B2 at all is a testament to how good this IEM actually is.
By the way, IMHO, I think that I got the best blank card of them all, the blank to rule them all. 404 - Not Found.
Alright I found the final form of my Olinaâs; front vent mod with Final Audio Type E TWS 12.5mm width tips. I found short tips to work best for me but I was in-between sizes on the stock tips. The FA tips are a perfect fit, super soft and wider than the narrow bore ones I was using before. The bass hits perfectly for hip hop/rap and the highs feel a bit tamed but not to the point where they are muted. This is an A++ setup for me now!
Been listening for a few hours now. Some Supertramp and Blues Traveler. After some tip rolling and a little EQ to adjust to my personal taste I have one word.
Impressive.
HBB, Nice Work My Friend.
Excited to finally experience it for myself. I will also be doing an in-depth comparison between the Starfields/Aria, ER2SE, and the Olina to see whoâs the king at $100 That review will probably be posted some time next week, but meanwhile hereâs a rankings list that Iâve been working on: JAY's IEM Ranking List - Google Sheets
