šŸ”¶ Tripowin X HBB Olina

Thank you thank you  I tried to mix in a bit of old and new stuff along with various genres.

Yup. Gonna pull the trigger when it goes on sale :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Nice list man! Do you have the Oxygen on hand still?

Unfortunately not! I started this list a while ago but never got to finishing it  I ended up going with the Hana instead since it was $100 cheaper but like 95% of the Oxygen :slightly_smiling_face:

Save that money for the 07

Finally got Miss Olinaā€¦excellent that i decided to sell 7hz Timeless due to 3D. Will stick to BLON BL01 MT604 combo on basshead mood (30%) rest all Olina.

Immediately changed faaeal pure copper cable and moondrop springs tips. Excellent bass out of mt604 hybrid amp. Moondrop tips also wide bore and short stem so you can push close enoughā€¦this brings best bass response and no harsh upper mids or trebleā€¦i dont need to mod.

By the way blank card 440 pure whiteā€¦represent peace the world needsā€¦thank you HBB.

Just wanted to say though, this set has been an absolute joy to listen to. Bus mod + Moondrop foam tips make these sound warm but man itā€™s so good. I have thoroughly enjoyed every song Iā€™ve played on them and overall glad I chose to buy these.

HBB, if youā€™re reading this, youā€™re a legend for bringing these to life. I was very close to buying a different 1/DD set to pair with my Timeless like the Hana or Aria but then this released. And suffice to say, no regrets at all.

#457 blank. Amazing iem, especially when pushed with a little more power. Reminds me a little of the sweetness that the Aria has for upper mids, only the Olina has it over far more of the sound spectrum.

I personally went from Spring tips to S400 from Audiosense as Springs missed some bass due to very wide bore. They were my second choice because they have unmatched comfort and grippiness for me, but this extra slam is nice to have.

I was evaluating the need of having LBBS today if I have Olina as I think they share some similarities. And while I think Olina is more universal for wide ranges of genres, LBBS is so wide open and has even more beautiful tonality for acoustic music like Johny Cash (Spotify - If you could read my mind and Spotify - hurt) to listen in background that it is unmatched for that sole purpose and would remain with me.
3 best purchases this year are Olina, S12 and LBBS and all for less than 300$ combined - crazy

Pink Triangle PT 1 on the right
Pink Triangle Anniversary with Roksan Tabriz, Nakamichi G1000 on the left.
Iā€™m currently upgrading the PT1 with a Origin Live Rega RB300.
The PT1 is for singles and the Anniversary for LPs.
Iā€™ve always wanted an SME IV for the Anniversary.

I had a Pink Triangle LPT and upgraded to the PT 1 both with the Rega RB arm. Loved the sound but build quality was really suspect and when I raised my concerns with the designer at a HiFi show I got the brush offā€¦so I traded it in for the Gyrodek. The sheer build quality is fantastic and it will probably last me outā€¦which I couldnā€™t say for the PT decksā€¦but they did sound fantastic.

Sound is everything. The PT1 is less structurally sound than the Anni. The Anni really is a different beast in both sound and construction. Iā€™m considering selling the PT1 once Iā€™ve finished the rebuild project and buying the Funk Firm LSD2. But only after Iā€™ve played with the PT1 first. I have a load of vinyl to convert to Flac files.

For me, CP145 and Final Audio Type E worked better.
CP145 - more ballanced
Type E - slightly more bass

How did you fit final audio Type E over the nozzle?? I couldnā€™t stretch it on lol
