true i also forgot to separate people that voted stock because they are happy with it and did not bother trying the the mod. i guess there are people who are not curious or too lazy

Yeah more people would prefer more bass and warmer tonality. thatās why majority of budget sets are V shaped. but this doesnāt mean a bright (and maybe agressive) set is half baked!!!
Itās subjective ā¦ nobodyās wrongā¦ we just may have different tastes ā¦
(and poll also shows there are people who prefer it stock)
PS: personally I like more bass.

I saw an episode with Anthony Bourdain (R.I.P) and he got a steak in France and it was unreal.
Big giant slab of amazing beef. Looked like a out of the way family place not fancy.
I want to visit Italy but Anthony Bourdain kinda made me wanna try a steak in France.

I am starting to agree about half baked but not because of tuning.The filter debacle and Linsoulās response is really grating on me now. @hawaiibadboy was very generous in his offer of repaying me for my set if I send it back to Linsoul but after talking with them it would cost me $40-50 to send it and I would still need to pay return shipping and possibly any repair costs! This is crazy to me and will end up costing me the same price as a new one so thatās not happening.
If you have the option in your country I highly recommend ordering through Amazon for their return policy alone (although I dislike using Amazon and try not to use them whenever I can)

I also live in blighty aboard a steel barge so night time inside temps can get near freezing add a multi fuel burner, drying logs around it during the day, LPG gas hob, showering and breathing etc = big condensation often frozen onto the widowās/portholes and their steel framesā¦Iām a hot person my sets are mostly metal and Iāve never had any condensation probsā¦sets are stored like thisā¦
One box circa Ā£2kās worth of metal sets trust silica gel and Tupperware

Also listened to this video this morning and was pretty impressed with how open the Olina sounded compared to the Dusk. These demos can be deceiving though. I remember listening to the Timeless on his demo before I bought them and the real life experience couldnāt be more different. regardless, the Olina sounds like an absolutely banger set. Maybe one day.

I love Q5k with it. You gonna be fine! Especially in balanced and performance mode
BT is worse but most people wonāt even notice. Donāt worry about it

One trick with Q5K if you have an Android phone and plan to use LDAC, make sure your phone sticks to Best Audio Quality 990k bitrate. You may have to open developer settings and set it manually once or each time you connect to it as I have to do.
