Doom/sludge metal
Today’s albums
Best of Phillip Glass (I got this because I knew the reputation of Phillip Glass but had never heard anything by him. Didn’t quite live up to expectation)
Jenny Hval - Iris Silver Mist (one of my favourite albums from 2025)
Hip Hop Don’t Stop vol 1 (great compilations of classic early hip hop)
That’s great. It’s sent me down a bit of a rabbit hole of their stuff. Thanks for recommending it.
Glad you like it! Pretty enjoy that downtempo style at the moment, make sure to also check out “Kalkutta” from the same EP.
dude i have been in the same rabbit hole beginning of this week….really good stuff! ![]()
I’ve bought the Bi Ba Bu and Artificial Tree EPs. I prefer to own something than stream it. The more recent releases are of a style I’m a bit awash with after subscribing to an experimental/vapourware label on Bandcamp (the label name escapes me).
cool, the Bi Ba Bu EP is definitely nice to own ![]()
Will have a listen to artifical tree now
At work and need a break. I thought I would go for some vocal excellence.
One of my favorite vids from them
This should get me through until can get home…

No Spirit - Feels Like Flying
Found a great YT channel to relax to.
I’m not going to lie; the dogs are what drew me to it!
Turns out, it’s a nice music channel.
Listening to Opeth - Ghost Reveries, for the first time ever.
I recently watched a Eric Fantano YT video in which he was talking about albums that were 20 years old.
