What are your most Underrated or underappreciated IEMs?

I’ve unfortunately been out of a job since i made this post, i recenty got back to developing full time so i would have money to spend, if my JT ran!!

Underrated… mmm maybe Thie HYPE2. It got love briefly and was forgotten, and that’s a solid IEM. :purple_heart:

Under appreciated maybe not even mentioned this $100 single DD with its fan shaped passive resonator from YU9 YAN

Incredible sounding with a huge sound coming from a tiny Quirky looking shell

Intriguing! A $100 single DD with a huge sound definitely sounds worth checking out. How’s the tuning, more warm, neutral, or leaning towards fun?

Slightley warm big bass with airy mids and well extended treble well detailed with a decent level of clarity.

That sounds right up my alley! A bit of warmth with good clarity and extension is always a win. Thanks for sharing!

Nature Sound NS5 MKII (the one I have are the bass edition). Crystal clear, leaning on sub-bass. Very good for music ranging from metal to ambient to almost anything complex. These were overlooked for most FOTMs at the time released.

Agreed I also love the TRI Draco on the other end of the price scale as well.

Sounds like a solid choice! How’s the bass impact on the NS5 MKII for genres like metal or ambient? Does it stay controlled or get too overwhelming?

@AcousticAngel I would say it’s pretty well controlled. Afaik there is only the regular version in the market, so I guess that one may suit you even more than the Bass version that I have.

Thanks for the heads-up! Good to know the regular version might be a better fit.

The Noble Knight imo is a super slept on iem. I think the main problem is that it takes awhile for the pizo driver to settle down and over the course of 1 month going back to demo it multiple times it kept getting more coherrent and better in general. Very nice mild V shape with a slightly sharp but never pircing that handles j-edm nonsense very nicely as well as give a real sense of grandour with songs like the cell from kokia and oceandeap from beast in black.

Yup i agree the Knight is great!
