Hey, My friend just got the DT 1990 Pro for 230 and now hes in need of a dac/amp under 150.
I’m currently thinking:
Fiio k3
Topping mx3
Dac X6
IFi Zen
If you have any other suggestions or a really solid choice it would be amazing.

Yea I was looking at it but being on aliexpress kinda not my thing but if you got yours there then. I’ll take that as 1 for the k5 pro

My pick if you can’t get a fiio k5 pro is just to get a monolith liquid spark amp and get a dac later on

If you bumped your budget, you could get a topping d30 and a30 stack for around 200 perhaps
would the d10 + a30 work too?

Pretty sure schiit has a eu store imo going for a schiit heresy or magni3+ would be a better route
I think a heresy and a d10 would be great, but I think the modi 3 is not the greatest and the 3+ is still iffy for me
I just personally not think the a30 is a very good sounding amp. Yeah I wouldn’t get the modi either
The a30 is clean enough imo, it’s better than other topping headphone amps to me. I didn’t think there was something glaringly wrong with it, but if a liquid spark or atom is not available, the a30 is solid imo

keep in mind i cant get anything from the US as the schiit heresy will cost me 150 itself
