What did you buy today? (Part 1)

part of what pushed me to order them. I don’t think they’re selling out any time soon but easier to try them now while they’re available and have return policy just in case.

This little amp. (I mean, not literally little, it’s actually pretty big assed) is a sonic bargain.

Hope you enjoy them! They are my favorite headphones.

I bought a pair of iBasso IT01S IEMs that come with 2.5mm balanced cable. I really like them. I have Andromedas and Fiio FH7s that I really love, but I’m impressed with the iBasso IEMs and am loving the blue color and finish.

So busy editing out the personal info I removed the actual item purchased.

Amazon delayed my Sundara from delivery this morning to delivery from 5 to 8 PM. Damn them.

One of the most frustrating yet exciting things in the hobby, waiting for the package to arrive.

My new xDuoo XT10 II digital turntable/transport is now here. The cable accessories that came with it weren’t extremely useful, so I ordered a 6 ft mini TOSlink - TOSlink cable, arriving tomorrow.

So portable players are called digital turntables now? Lol. Weird.

I don’t get it either lol.
Maybe it turns the table of sound quality in your favor?

I guess my old smartphone is my digital cassette player now :stuck_out_tongue:

Nice!
I have considered this DAP myself as I like Xduoo products and it is cheap, but look like quality.

So there’s no DAC or amp in there - digital output only. I guess they tried to distinguish it from a fully integrated DAP by calling it something different. A turntable doesn’t actually reproduce the sound by itself, it just spins the disc

Yeah! Intuitive, reliable interface so far. Very solid feeling - smooth, weighty, pleasant to the touch.

That’s the dumbest thing.

I imagine the marketing meeting.

“Out customers are audiophiles. Audiophiles like turntables. So if we call our DAP a turntable we’ll sell more of them!”
