I take a dremel and remove original texture. Sand it and then create borders. then add texture with soldering iron. This grip really isn’t too abrasive, just enough to keep a firm grip but still capable of touching the skin while carrying without irritation.

yeahh sounds cool - not that you wear off too much skin on the range, if not wearing some “mechanics” or other gloves
sorry if that with the gloves may sound idiotic or noob like - we in germany are not used to wearing firearms… however I can see the fascination for good craftsmanship and modding

Those look pretty sweet.
My experience is that you want enough grip that it doesn’t slip, but no too abrasive that it tears through latex.

Yeah these are more of a edc grip. There are more abrasive textures for duty.

Forgot to mention my Koss KSC75x replacement pair came. Seem much better built than previous without clicking issues. Drop customer service was great!

Not at all. I wear gloves at times. Especially if you’ve been out all day. Or its nice to train with gloves

ok cool - I do woodwork with my knives, axes and saws with mechanics (gloves) on and appreciate the extra grip

edit: sundaras were very painful to let go but they’re just so extremely open. didn’t last long in my household.
I’ve never had any luck dealing with Drop’s customer service, though I’m debating about ordering a replacement pair myself, as the cable on the one I had cought on a door handle and ripped appart…

I’ve heard both sides on drops Customer service. Might depend on the rep you get when you submit an issue not sure. I’ve personally had an easy time with returns, never had to replace something though.
Yeah, the rep I got was extremely nice and helpful. Might be different for others though. I was thankfully still within the 30 day period.

Just got my Monoprice Liquid Spark amp. I’m surprised how small it is. looks larger in the pictures. Did i get the right item? its 4 1/2 x 3 1/2.
