OH yeah the topping pa3 came in today! Finally hooked it up to the miccas and it feels sooooooooooo nice to twist the knob for volume lol

I ordered a Topping MX3 after watching Zeosā damn review of it 
It looks to be a great piece of kit and I didnāt make it half-way through the review before deciding it would be awesome between my home office Windows 10 machine and a pair of Bose PC speakers I had been running directly at first and recently through my HiBy R5.
I may well upgrade the speakers soon for it tooā¦I donāt want to go overboard though as my A/V room is like 8 feet from my home office desk. I do think I will like using it while āexploringā Tidal with my Sennheiser HD-660s or some of my IEMs.

I picked up a lightning to USB B cable so I can connect my iPhone to my DAC without any adapters. The cable is marketed as a MIDI cable, but I thought it would probably work. I got a warning when I first plugged it into my phone that it was an unsupported accessory, but when I plugged it into my DAC, it worked fine. Linked.

Unfortunately itās ALL audio stuff, and i am too embarrassed to even talk about the big purchases. Iāll post pictures in a few weeks of the new desktop set-up in the endgame picture thread once I get my grubby little fingers on everything and have a chance to set it all up and get things running. Itās gonna be a sweeet and eccentric mix of gear and hopefully i can find the synergy in it all.
Shit, i forgot about Christmasā¦

Nah, its a matter of design, aesthetic and profile more than cost (since 90 percent of people donāt know the price of what you wear). Pro headphones are made generally without any focus on look or appeal so they are largely indistinguishable from fugly 40 dollar closed backs you get off amazon to the untrained eye.

Lol they do look pretty strange. The build is pretty good too. Just look around for a deal
