Bought a qp2r as well as a balanced cable for my sarda, and a xlr to 2.5mm adapter for my zmfs.

Got the freya+ today and connected it and listened for a few minutes to see if everything functions properly and it does… hoping they sound as good as they look together :ok_hand:

Mmm yes that’s a sexy looking combo, if it sounds half as good as it looks, win win!

Deliveries 2 and 3 of ???

Yes, it’s only 2 x 128GB, but that’s plenty for me.

The DX160 is great so far. Had to order a 3.5 mm TS to RCA cable to get it to send S/PDIF to my DACs. It didn’t like my TRRS FiiO digital coax cable for some reason.

Thanks folks! I’ll find a thread to post my impressions eventually but that usually takes awhile for me to sort out

Not mine but my sister’s. She got them in today and let me take them home for the night. I was expecting a closed Elex but vocals seem to be very in-your-face on the Elegias. I don’t have the Elex anymore to A/B with either but I may prefer the comfort on these to them.

Nice choice! I’ve been loving mine. Living exclusively with the tubes, can’t say I’ve tried the buffer mode. You’re using the stock tubes?

I went with a quad set of Electro-Harmonix 6SN7, they’re new and easy to get and did provide a richer sound than the stock tubes it came with. Relatively cheap.

What I’ll wind up with, heard a lot of good thing about them is these. Much more money to throw at it but why get tubes if you’re not going to do some experimentation.

I’ll probably try to hunt down something vintage but just haven’t gotten around to it.

My One Plus 7 Pro just had the screen relaced… it fell off my motorcycle and got run over in traffic. Front is fine, back is shattered. I’m still calling it a win.

right on, I didn’t even think to go the new route so ill keep these in mind… thanks

Your sister sounds pretty cool. Good taste in headphones and is nice enough to share.

Sony MH-1, and an OPA627 opamp. I’ve read that the OPA627 sounds its best with a more powerful amplifier. I got it to get into dabbling with opamps with my Zishan Z3 Pro, so that will have to do, until I can lay my hands on a decent desktop solution.

Burson are pretty decent for not to much money to roll opamps
