Just a quick follow up on the Genalex Gold Lion N709/EL84 tubes my buddy gave me.
He did some initial burn-in on them for about 24 hours.
They sounded decent when I first listened, but a few days later sounded like ass. Well…they needed about 100 hours of burn-in before sounding really good. They sounded decent initially, then sounded like ass, now sound really really good.
Just wanted to give a heads up in case anybody buys these tubes.

Tyrone, you should try the Koss Porta Pros. They’re really good, especially after adding Yaxi pads. Better comfort and bass.

Yeahhhhhh… If only they didnt have to be shipped from Japan
In my case it was returned to them from Japan post but then they used DHL and it took like 4 days to get it to Europe so pretty good imo. Much different case than from China

I love the pads. Shipping from the Far East is hot garbage right now, and DHL has not exactly been among my best experiences with a shipping company.
