I do too. My only problem is that I wanted the described signature of the ares more. I also like the look more. 3 year warranty is not too bad either.
BluJay, that is a good way to target your gear. Good on ya. I started out that way but have stepped up my price point a bit to see what the higher level sounds like. 
Only reason I chose the BF2 over the Aries II was because it was made in the USA.

Found these for 30$. Sony MDR-XB700. Sadly in an attempt to clean out the flakes off the earpads I broke both plastic rings lol
Think my only hope is to glue them together to make a mold and try resin casting. Glue just comes apart if I try to snap them back on lol. Anyone have suggestions?

JB weld. will bond about anything together.
edit: u will probably have to sand the weld point a little.

I’ve used epoxy putty for such things as well. Actually, that is what I use when doing detachable cable mods on Beyerdynamic headphones.
I’ve seen guys JB weld damaged firearms as a temporary fix (I strongly DO NOT recommend doing this unless you’re knowledgeable on the subject matter, lol).
