We should have a “What was delivered today” thread. you know, cause you buy stuff. mostly on the internet. then you receive it later.

Yeah, I think this has simply become about both of these topics

Got this honey delivered today, the DT770:

ok this headphone has no business sounding this good o.o

This sounds fantastic! awesome bass punch. the treble is a little high but some filters should help that. but yeah, they sound amazing. Max settings just said the K371/361 are the best closed backs under 200$ but i dont think he’s heard this headphone. i got it for 119$

it has a coiled headphone cable though lol. its like a retro headphone cable or something

Don’t feel bad he probably needed money quick for something and I helped him out haha

Max hates the DT770 and for good reason in my opinion, i’ll quote him by saying the thing has way more bass than every modern beats headphone and the 770 treble is death.

Yeah it has a lot of bass but i love it. as for the treble, it is too high. but ive been controlling it with EQ APO and i got it sounding great.

Yes, it depends on the light and in pictures it seems darker than IRL.

@Antpage2 I definitely enjoyed the 250 ohm version of those. Hated the 80 ohm though, way too sibilant and piercing. I still preferred the 1More Trident’s sound way more over them as a closed back V shape sound, but the beyers were much more comfortable.
Did you know there is a 600 ohm version? :smirk:

Let me know what you think of the MLP x Ares pairing. You don’t have an rnhp or gilmore on hand do you?

I am enjoying my set w/ lambskin pads.

Will do!

Nope, neither of those amps is in my inventory.

Really liked mine too. Especially paired with a warmer leaning source like the Liquid Spark. The only reason I parted with mine was because I couldn’t see many times when I would pick these up and listen over the Elegia. But up till then they were my favorite closed back I had heard. Very fun, detailed, and lively sound for the price.

Due to certain reasons i had to bail on the asgard 3 for now. But, i was able to buy this dual op amp Burson V5i for my xduoo 05 plus! doubling down on the xduoo for now lol

Got a good deal on these. A couple cosmetic issues that a good craftsman patched up. And unfortunately the attached cord version, but even so these mark my second headphone in the “mid-fi” tier. I’m pumped! Impressions to follow in TH/R thread.

I agree - I love my 770 / 250Ω but the treble is too harsh and I use the Loki to equalize it down. With it equalized though it has such a comfortable fit for me and sounds great.
