I got my shipping mail Thursday (they always ship on a Thursday) this week and it arrived in Germany Saturday and will land in Denmark Monday and depending on customs, I will get it Tuesday I guess.

probably. they are more sensitive then speakers or headphones. and i don’t do iem’s, so can’t comment.

Dekoni Elite Velour pads for my HD700. Stock pads just split open like someone gutted them. Heat / moisture probably made the glue holding them together loosen up.
The shipping for these pads is among the most absurd I’ve seen though. $25 from US or £45 from UK. The UK shipping price just had me go WTF? Official Dekoni retailer I might add. I weep with my wallet.

I’ve only listened for about 15min through my 6XXs but wow. Just wow. It’s hard to explain but there’s just this… added bass extension and overall “warmth” added to the sound that I love. I’m learning that I’m definitely a “tube” guy lol, which makes sense why I always wanted Marshall tube amps for guitar over solid states.
Anyway, so far so good. I haven’t even touched the stock tubes but I will mess around with them to hear how the sound changes.
Edit: This thing is also massive.
Edit 2: The HP-3s on this are god-tier.
Edit 3: I could cook a pizza on this.

The truth?.. I got lucky. I searched EBay at exactly the right time. There happened to be a refurbished pair collected in a repo sitting there. I had to live with the surface imperfections and them being the attached-cord version, but that all amounted to a pretty good price.

Yeah, they were $1290 iirc and I got them from amazon. The seller is a licensed focal dealer out of Arizona. The replacement set showed up today as the set I got had a rattle in one ear cup.
