Are those Argon’d or still stock? What do you think of them?
Stock with upgraded headband and pads, in short, they’re fun. Not overly detailed or wide , but very enjoyable bass. If it says much I have a pair of Aeolus’s and LCD2C’s and these get plenty of attention still.

I am curious how they would compare to my TH-610’s.
I can’t go a single day without fantasizing about a headphone that I don’t own!

Same, how are the 610’s? I’ve been seeing some decent deals on those and have been fighting the urge.
Originally I was thinking vericote but Zach said they were out and the Cocobolo looked just as good imo so I’m very pleased about the Ltd edition

I have Cocobolo Grado’s and they are definitely the prettiest 'phones in my collection.

I was underwhelmed at first. They got better with a driver mod from Lawton. I then splurged on a Periapt balanced cable.
I got them for a very good price, as they were open box. But then I put that money right back into them.

I don’t mean to hijack this thread so I will try to limit my questions. What was it that underwhelmed you? Was the separation not good?

Lacked clarity. Which is probably fair for a “bassy” headphone. Driver mod cleaned it up a fair bit.

I have NO issues with my Blon and Linsoul cable. It’s actually difficult getting the 2 pin into the Blon it’s so tight.
Bought some black pipes to make a diy headphone stand.

Which cable is that? Maybe I got the wrong size, 0.75 vs 0.78? I don’t remember what it was I bought. I believe it’s a yinyoo cable.
