Got an AudiophileNinja cable for the LCD-2. If you like black, it’s a good alternative to Periapt. Most notably, you don’t get that giant y-split. I would have like to have the current gen stock Audeze cable. But Audeze charges $150 for it.

I also picked up some leather condition. Audeze charges $10 with free shipping, which is actually a good deal lol

your lcd-2’s are in pretty nice condition too… cable connections are different than mine… nicer… must be newer… nice cable :ok_hand:

Yeah I noticed the different connection style when you posted your photo. Mine’s one of the later models. The flat cable it came with is pretty bad lol.

I got the flat balanced cable too but also the newer style 1/4" which is a really great cable but Audeze charges quite a bit for it unfortunately

Today my Fostex TH909 arrived. It is beautiful looking and sounds really good. Very lite and comfortable. Zeo’s was right about this headphone.
Bass is very detailed and bass head worthy. Mids are great and treble isn’t harsh on my setup.

I’m thoroughly enjoying my Grado Hemps, but I’ll be damned if they didn’t pack the cable like complete shit. If they didn’t do that, the cable wound be rather nice imo.

I’m honestly thinking those are next, I’m really enjoying the Grado sound, and ya how they pack is odd, my pad was a little dented

Lol that’s a nice surprise 750s are pretty great especially the low end for the price

Just my covid19 rig below. Added the MCTH to the stack this past week. So far, after >50hrs burn-in, slightly warmish neutral compared to the 789. The HD800S sounds fine on them. For the HE-500, the jury is still out, leaning towards a :man_shrugging: at this time with this pairing. Missing my speaker amps I used to power my HE-6. Also left my Darkvoice 336SE behind. I didn’t want to lug them out to the countryside while I WFH. My Grados HF-3, HD6XX, and AKG K501 are still in my city pad. I want to fetch them one of these days to try them out with the MCTH.
