It came labeled as a “User’s Manual” with my V280.
I actually got the amp in on Friday, but have been so stuck on Pendant and A90 that I wasn’t ready to devote time to the V280 yet. Now I’m final ready to try out the 880s and Susvara to see how they pair. I was just looking through the manual to see how to remove the cover to set internal jumpers to configure the RCAs as outputs, and to confirm the PS is correctly set to 115vac.
Just arrived and did a brief test with the FiiO K5 pro and it works correctly and I’m liking what I hear. I will have to wait for my replacement dac to arrive before I can fully test it.
Wow, these are very detailed! FDx1 is what the Rai Solo should have been smh. If ppl can get the nozzle off to perform a mod like the FDx1 should be pretty sweet.
As an addition side note I think the decay of the driver is too fast on the FDx1. I’ve actually had to boost some bass to make it linger more and then perfecto. Will try tip rolling later as a method instead.
not even altier fan but was debating ordering that cause the quality is pretty impressive. and scale was nto bad but my pre order list is waay too heavy
These came in today. Easily punches $200 above their price point. I also have the wireless GW100s on the way as well. I think I have officially fallen in love with Grado.
So my Cables came today Both the adapter work and the T1 balanced cable work great. Though it raises some questions.
One sound has improved for my T1 I cant tell if it was a shitty stock cable or I’m running them off my Hugo that makes the difference
I switched to stock balanced and used the adapter with my stellias… And the sound is different. Subtly in a way I prefer. It makes no sense but its there and it confuses the heck out of me.
For the past 4 years I’ve been living with a left monitor that would continually shut itself off due to a miserably designed power saving mode, and a dac that would significantly distort the signal going to my right monitor every time I raised or lowered the volume.
All this time I neglected doing something about it because audio wasn’t at the top of my priorities list anymore and because I knew that it would cost a lot of money - even though, all this time, it drove me right up the wall.
So about 2 weeks ago I finally said fuck it, let’s do it and let’s do it right. So I started doing research into what would be viable replacements and with the help of some of you (I’m especially looking at you, @M0N), I narrowed it down to the following:
