Why changing up from the LCD 2 Closed Backs?
For Doc Martins, if you still have the box they came in then they have a super long (possibly lifetime) warranty and their customer service is great.
Related note, always keep your Doc Martins’ box when you buy them.

As a stellia and listen pro owner you will definitely get that with the right amp (I find stellias need a bit more voltage to get them to sing)
I don’t know what your budget but the listen pros are a decent way to get into the focal sound if tuned to be a bit neutral for not too much money imo (@M0N sold me on them)

I was actually looking at this today and wondering how it would pair with my Elegia. Curious how it pairs with your Focals.
As my modi 2 dac died on me a few weeks back, i ordere 2 new dacs (with the intent to flip one of them as i have a buyer ready)
I went for a modi 3 and a SMSL Sanskrit 10th DAC… and today the Modi 3 arrived (not sure when the other one will get here) so i finally could get rid of the temporary “usb soundcard” (Terrarec aureon 7.1 usb) that worked as a DAC while i was waiting for my orders (it had quite high noise floor, but the musicality was pretty ok )

I thought the Topping unit was smaller.

cheap Chinese pads came in , A fellow 990 owner reccd me these Ali express pads I said why not worse case I put them on one of my headphones desperate for pads like my k52. Made the headphones more v shaped presentation got worse and bass while fun got muddy. And treble is sharpened where the liquid spark didn’t help. A solid not recommend but the pads themselves are pretty good the sheepskins smells like leather feels pretty good not plasticky at all feels like a thin leather so I’m guessing they are legit sheepskin and the foam is oft not memory foam but just a very plush foam

Got the Grado GW100s in today. After a few days I will post my thoughts in that thread on the Official forum thread. I also put Yaxi S Series pads on them. I really like the purple. My light to the right in the pic washed out the color. It’s a deeper purple then that. Think Barney the creepy dinosaur.

It’s finally here and the cable is not bad for the price. TRN seems to be good so far on what I am seeing and man I missed the T2 sounds for a long time that I almost forgot on how very good they sound are. Glad I got a new cable for it.

Just bought a secondhand Violectric HPA V281 with the upgraded 128 step relay volume control and remote. Super excited for this long awaited amp upgrade, should ship tomorrow
