He is a super nice guy. Even though his prices are a bit steepā¦what you are getting in return is such great quality and he provides such good customer service, it is totally worth it. When he was working on my BHC, anytime he made some progress, he sent me an updated picture or two. You arenāt going to get that combination of customer service, attention to detail, and quality craftsmanship anywhere else.

yeah his work looks top notch, If I ever feel the need to own a BHC I will definitely get one from him.
Also bought a pair of Micca RB42 for a secondary desk setup a few days ago, needed something with a smaller footprint that still packs some oomph. should work nicely when they arrive

It might be shorter for you. They work in batches and I was last in my group. Also I heard they moved to a different facility durning my wait which certianly added to it.

I purchased a Ken Rad 12AU7 tube and a Raytheon 6080WB tube for my BottleheadCrack.
The Raytheon 6080WB was manufactured by Bendix with the slotted graphite platesā¦a hard to find and expensive tube. I paid $80 for it, so Iām pretty stoked.

What headphones do you have? I think there are already a few threads on this. For me it was Fostex TH-610ās. I only did the driver mod and it was WELL worth it.

Wow! So Iām actually running early? Lol. My VCs finally shipped and are due on Friday, which would be 118 days from order. Granted, I havenāt yet accounted for FedExās near-inevitable screw-ups and delays, but if I allow a week for that then Iām at least at parity with your turnaround time.

There was apparently a COVID shutdown at some point that slowed things down; that was somewhat early in the whole pandemic cycle, I believe. As far as I know, production has been running ever since that first shutdown.
The move effects are probably still in play. Roughly two weeks ago I chatted with Zach on email and I gather theyāre in the new place, but likely still ramping up / adjusting to the new facility. I worked in a wood shop ages ago, and from my experience Iād expect an adjustment period after which manufacturing should accelerate and hit a new stride. In the long run that should improve throughput, but in the short term there may be some backlog to clear.
Regardless, the ZMF wait is always longer than you want it to be, shorter than it feels, and well worth it in the end.
I bought myself a pair of campfire audio solaris 2020 really want them to arrive!

OK gang. Deal of the century here. Got these since this is near the going rate anyway and most of the eBay auctions I have seen just get obscene at this point. Also, this has an ENDGAME amp with it. I mean, my goodness I canāt wait to drive, I dunno, Susvaras with it? Yeah. BEST. AMP. EVAR. Wonder if I can get Zeos to review the ampā¦
