A lot of amps actually.
To my ear, it’s neutral-bright, lacks dynamics and sub-bass.
It does have excellent imaging and staging, and is very clean. And the VU meters are awesome.

This thread should be called what did you buy 8 weeks ago.
I’ve got over 3k spent in equipment that I’m patiently waiting for weeks now to receive. Such is the hobby especially when you delve into hand built boutique crap. LOL

Yeah, i won’t post anything until i have it in hand. Got some headphones i’ve been waiting for going on 6 weeks now…eventually they will get here, it’s good to have plenty of other stuff on hand to play with in the meantime

That’s almost my exact same Oreo!! Sold mine off to move to the Gung/Mjol stack. I had a silver Jot and black Asgard. To me the Jot was enough by itself…it was cool A/B ing the two but the difference for my cans and the music I like was pretty minimal and I wanted to play with some tubes.

DarkVoice. With a coupon, it is $170.00. Then I start doing conversion and it will be $345.00, landed in Canada. And then it will need some tubes…
At $170.00, in my mind, almost anything is worth a shot. 
But at $400.00 to $500.00…Hmmmmm.
And then I hit the Buy button.

Nice they’ve upgraded their case looks like. My Hart set cam squeezed into a clearish/translucent box. Awesome cables, need to make point to reach for them more.
For starters, I have been recommending the following:
Sylvania 6SN7GTA (preferably early to mid 1950’s) + RCA 6AS7G (~$35-40)
Tung Sol 6SN7GT(mouse-ears) + Tung-Sol 7236 (~$60)
Mix n’ match them.
