More storage for music files.
Wow, you are building a Very nice collection!
Thanks Shane! Getting there lol pretty rewarding hobby
Please report back on the differences between your DACās.
I and probably Many others here are looking/have looked at both of those with much lust.
Yup will do for sure
Nice!!!
I was very surprised of the way it enhanced the sound; there was a very clear difference from my other dacās, so I hope it is a enjoyable for you.
I can already agree with this. Itās doing things that set it apart from the bifrost. Not saying better or worse but they are definitely different.
Glad youāre enjoying yours
Cant wait for my Mangird Tea and Fiio Fh3,god i hate this forum lmao
What an upgrade from the Donald dac huh, looks killer
What name are we going to give the FH3 squad?
Corpse cable (non-GraveDigger version) for my 2Cs. Audeze does make a good stock cable, but it was time for me to move on to balanced. I had a Corpse for my Ether CX back in the day, but I loved the cable way more than the headphones and had to sell them.
Travis at Corpse runs a good business (highly usable website, quick turnaround, excellent packing and shipping, friendly service) and makes a superb cable - smooth, attractive, and flexible. Donāt ask me how it sounds, because I listen to music, not cables
Looking forward to your impression(s) of the Pandas!
These actually came in yesterday, but Iāll be giving more detailed impressions over in Custom Cables
Also, particularly with the Real ID deadline coming up (itās a US thing for those not living here), and that Iād like to change over my licence and print off some other documentsā¦ I caved and bought a printerā¦ If nothing else when it comes time for printing off resumes, it should come in handy.
I thought about posting some impressions on the Panda thread, but Iām really not ready for a full dump yet. I havenāt given these enough timeāthey just came in this afternoon. And itās really awkward timing given my VCs just showed up, and itās a little jarring to go from those to Pandas and not be unfairly critical.
Thusfar the Pandas are as advertised in terms of rapid charging time and ease of pairing. Iāve done a little listening with just straight line out from my phone as well as LDAC from the Tidal app. Sound quality is still impressive for a BT headphone. Mids are clear and imaging is good.
I am still enjoying the voicing. Theyāre a little dark with good but not exceptional detail. Bass is articulate, but light on slam. Mids are great.
Iām already anticipating taking these on the go with me to places where big headphones might be impractical and where I wouldnāt care to take expensive IEMsālike a weekend road trip or something. Pandas would be ideal for flopping down in a chair and reading a book or something. Theyāre a nice lightweight option for actually decent listening without going full DAP + flagship IEM.
So that about sums up early impressions. I wonder if burn-in is a good idea given how much that helped Sundaras.
I forgot I had ordered this, for whatever reason it was way back-ordered I guess. Iām kinda late to the party but wanted to experience this multiple-bit sound influence yaāll have been enjoying. Shiit Bifrost 2ā¦
Welcome to the party!!
