Nice!!!
I was very surprised of the way it enhanced the sound; there was a very clear difference from my other dac’s, so I hope it is a enjoyable for you.

Pandas finally arrived today, as well as part 2 of my ZMF order (Seahorse case + shirts).

I can already agree with this. It’s doing things that set it apart from the bifrost. Not saying better or worse but they are definitely different.

Glad you’re enjoying yours :beers:

What name are we going to give the FH3 squad?

Corpse cable (non-GraveDigger version) for my 2Cs. Audeze does make a good stock cable, but it was time for me to move on to balanced. I had a Corpse for my Ether CX back in the day, but I loved the cable way more than the headphones and had to sell them.

Travis at Corpse runs a good business (highly usable website, quick turnaround, excellent packing and shipping, friendly service) and makes a superb cable - smooth, attractive, and flexible. Don’t ask me how it sounds, because I listen to music, not cables

Looking forward to your impression(s) of the Pandas!

These actually came in yesterday, but I’ll be giving more detailed impressions over in Custom Cables

Also, particularly with the Real ID deadline coming up (it’s a US thing for those not living here), and that I’d like to change over my licence and print off some other documents… I caved and bought a printer… If nothing else when it comes time for printing off resumes, it should come in handy.

I thought about posting some impressions on the Panda thread, but I’m really not ready for a full dump yet. I haven’t given these enough time–they just came in this afternoon. And it’s really awkward timing given my VCs just showed up, and it’s a little jarring to go from those to Pandas and not be unfairly critical.

Thusfar the Pandas are as advertised in terms of rapid charging time and ease of pairing. I’ve done a little listening with just straight line out from my phone as well as LDAC from the Tidal app. Sound quality is still impressive for a BT headphone. Mids are clear and imaging is good.

I am still enjoying the voicing. They’re a little dark with good but not exceptional detail. Bass is articulate, but light on slam. Mids are great.

I’m already anticipating taking these on the go with me to places where big headphones might be impractical and where I wouldn’t care to take expensive IEMs–like a weekend road trip or something. Pandas would be ideal for flopping down in a chair and reading a book or something. They’re a nice lightweight option for actually decent listening without going full DAP + flagship IEM.

So that about sums up early impressions. I wonder if burn-in is a good idea given how much that helped Sundaras.

I forgot I had ordered this, for whatever reason it was way back-ordered I guess. I’m kinda late to the party but wanted to experience this multiple-bit sound influence ya’ll have been enjoying. Shiit Bifrost 2…
