I might have a set of those clip-on Koss stashed in a drawer from years ago too. Now Iā€™m gonna have to go looking for thoseā€¦

Portas are fun! Do try the ksc 75 on a headband. Better bass while maintaining clear mids. Have fun!

@Pr3ssAltF4 you have some VERY nice pieces. :+1: Would love to see more pictures in a 2channel thread of yours and others, Iā€™m happy to know others swap multiple speakers too just like headphones.

Iā€™m in LOVE :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

These headphones are certainly not to everyoneā€™s taste.

But personally I have fulfilled an audiophile dream with it.

I come from the homeland of sennheiser, beyerdynamic and ultrasone headphones. Certainly all very good manufacturers.

In 1993 I got to know some music-loving people through my contacts with US Army employees at the time and we had a lively exchange about music tastes and the corresponding technology.
This was the first time I heard GRADO headphones and was enthusiastic about the airiness of the sound and the phenomenal fading of the sounds in the room.

Since we in Germany are familiar with the Grado cardridges, nobody here knew of headphones from this company at this time, as they only came onto the market in the USA at the beginning of the 90s.

So I exchanged my former Beyerdynamic DT880 250 Ohm for an SR325 with a friend and from then on I was a GRADO fan.

And I have now reached the final solution (for GRADO headphones)

Would live to hear your thoughts. I just recently entered the Grado cult with the Hemps and have been considering the higher end models.

@M0N @Ohmboy @WaveTheory
Maybe we could get a Grado Statement Series official thread?

Very nice addition. Probably my end game for Gradoā€™s.

Uhhh, I donā€™t know if thatā€™s such a good idea :smirk:

We are being beaten by the younger generation !!!
:hammer: :loudspeaker:
NO BASS, cheaply processed, TOO BRIGHTLY TUNED and this frequency curve, a disaster!

And we will say: You have no idea how good sound can be brought to the ear and you canā€™t even know how good wine :wine_glass: tastes when you only drink beer  ā€¦ etc.

Weā€™d better set up a kind of ā€œdark forumā€ :face_with_hand_over_mouth: for Grado fans, where we can then exchange ideas in peace :heavy_heart_exclamation:

 :joy:

Funny thing is Iā€™m 25. But Iā€™m also a rather old and crotchety soul so that might explain it.
