Yep…don’t need the haters…those who love ‘em do so with passion. Congratulations on the 3000’s !
Oh yes, I tell you these headphones are addicting.
I got it delivered yesterday morning, since then he’s been running non-stop to break it in.
But I have to admit that I’ve had these cans on my ears for at least 5-6 hours since then.
Simply fantastic, these dynamics can almost be compared to those of planar headphones.
The bass isn’t really rumbling, but extremely defined.
The mids are very present without being in the least intrusive.
And the heights are, how should I put it, velvety perhaps best describes it.
And the icing on the cake, and other manufacturers simply can’t do that in this way, this airiness, the ability to let sounds float in the room, only to be gently lost in the end.
Simply fantastic!
What are driving them on for an amp and DAC?
I was running my GH2’s just from my DAP this morning and it was pretty good. But they do have to go back on the Violectric.
I use the Feliks Audio Echo for the GS3000e’s and on the mobile side the FIIO M11 or the Audioquest Dragonfly Cobalt for the RS2e’s and The Hemp’s
Nice!
You can never be too young to appreciate the quality of some GRADO headphones.
Taking inspiration from @Wesley
Started the Amazon HD trial.
Also; earlier this weekend I added a budget sub (Elac sub1010) to compliment the Edifier R1700BTS on the desktop.
I saw a review by Erin’s Audio Corner and he called it out as pretty good for a budget option.
Amazon HD was the cherry on top for me. It’s actually pretty crazy how much better my system sounds now. It sounds like it’s firing on all cylinders now.
I feel like this wouldn’t have been quite as irritating if I didn’t get interrupted at least half a dozen times while trying to make my first attempt at surface mount soldering… even so… this was a pain in the ass. AAA battery for scale.
One of my older TVs took a shit. So did some rearranging today and picked up a new one for the living room.
My first oled and I’m digging this picture.
Guys…I am not sure what to feel about this for I want to cry with joy right now. I can’t believe that my family did this for me even though I am not expecting anything from them to begin with for all I know it’s hard for them give me such things like these. I just want to thank them overall and therefore I love them giving me gifts like this, for I hope I deserved such gifts even though I had failed a lot of times. Man, looks like I don’t have to wait anymore.
So in all the posts ive seen of yours it seems like you are very humble and genuinley appreciate all the small things in life and the things others do for you. Which imho is much rarer than it should be. Enjoy!
After a minor discussion with HiFiGo over the Moondrop S8, I found them on Amazon $105 below normal MSRP and pulled the trigger.
First impression is wide soundstage and lots of detail, just as I like it and even though they are not small, it is perhaps the IEM’s I have ever tried, with the best fit. I can hardly feel them when in my ears. And kudos to Shenzen Audio for fast delivery, less than 5 days including a weekend.
Made a potential “endgame” IEM purchase over the weekend and just got them in today. Earsonics Grace
Yes, for I had been at that point being all ungrateful and sometimes not just satisfied in general as a kid. But as I grew older and much wiser I came to realize on what they are trying to say to me for a long time, regardless on how small or big the things that your family has given you, you should be grateful in every moment with them, for time is so short and I just want to say that I love them so much in every moment regardless if I will say them or not, I now to this day, appreciate for what they have done for me and the GPU and PSU that they have given me, was too much…yeah.
Bought her last night… Started on a search for replacement cables for my HP3s and thought what the hell let just get a set of cans that will give me the cable included.
Excited to hear the clears and hope they scale well! Not in the best condition but was already built into the ask.
So the last kit came in, and I really didn’t waste much if any time throwing it together! Went much better, and I can honestly say that I didn’t dislike the experience this time around.
I will say that I do think my through hole soldering skills have gotten better!
I had started this yesterday, but since the forums have been down…
I did the detachable cable mod on the Porta Pro X. Wasn’t the easiest thing in the world, but definitely not the hardest.
Oh, I’ve also begun the Dekoni Blue balanced conversion… Nothing bad yet, just have to figure out how I want to proceed.
Just received these today, Verum ones. It took 3 months from ordering to having them in my hands.
They’re built very well and have a energetic and detailed sound.
Beautiful cups!
