Very cool product!
Didnāt quite get all of the parts today, but finished building my server earlier today. Hopefully will be upgrading the Graphics card to something that supports nvenc for plex transcoding.
Looks good, for now I wont need to go much bigger than this (I hope) as Iām using it as a test server as well as a plex server
Yeah, this machine serves multiple purposes now. Iām running TrueNAS Core and itās both my NAS storage and my iSCSI storage for my VMWare ESXi hosts.
Wow nice. I havenāt seen these around in ages. I remember looking at them way back, it feels like vintage porn haha.
I guess you could say it wasā¦ Not Daijoubu.
Also thumbs up for Nanahira, sheās great fun.
after ear-burn in, I like the sound signature a lot. Itās a bit thin sounding, but I really crave the mids and treble when I switch to my other headphones.
Think they would be pretty polarizing, but Iāve already accepted my preferences for sound can deviate quite a bit from the norm.
Have you heard of our lord and savior Grado labs? LoL
Seriously though, if you like unique and quirky frequency response, Grado has one of the best for mids and treble.
Nothing crazy. Auditor RS 165, ālike newā on Amazon.
Very much an upgrade over stock, but needs heavy EQ for my taste, as its pretty bright.
Iāve been seriously considering an SR60e for quite some time. But too many headphones pulling at my wallet on top of needing to replace my CD player and buy some LE CDs before they disappearā¦ ugh.
If anyone wants to sell me some Grados for $40, sure :^)
I bought a set of KEF RDM1 speakers today on Craiglist. They are coaxial 6.5" drivers with sealed cabinets. Not much to read online about them. They sound great, very detailed and wide soundstage. Pretty stoked
check up on these:
CARTOONISHLY BASSY
These headphones have been easily the most bizarre experience iāve had in the audiophile hobby.
I bought these campfires thinking my DT1990s were too āsterileā, or lacking personality and fun (compared to my main stays: Elex, LCD2Cs, and 7Z M1s; for context)
But now that iāve got a few hours listening timeā¦my opinions totally flipped.
The DT1990s have really taken a new life and have gown in interest to me, if you want some punchā¦simply turn 'em up!
Where as the campfires are 99% bass and 1% hot gasā¦ they sound outright weird with anything other than club bangers (granted they do sound incredible if youāre drunk and blasting club bangers)
It sounds strange but i might just re-sell the campfires, the DT1990s now sound soā¦nuanced
Finally got my hands on the KBEar BElieve. I also got a KBEar cable, only for the sake of brand continuity lol. Iāve heard a lot about the BElieve, but surprisingly thereās not that many reviews or impressions about it on forums or YouTube. Maybe Iāll write a review about it if I feel like it, weāll see.
Anyway, I havenāt really listened to the BElieve, but I have some things to say about it, more specifically about the cable that it came with. It is just horrendous. In terms of measurement, it measure at around 160 to 180mĪ©, but the feel of that cable is just horrible. Please, do yourself a favour and buy a better cable for it. And also, the āKBEar 8 core high purity silver plated cableā that I also bought measured at around 95mĪ© and feels way better on the hands.
Hi all! My first post on these forums
I recently bought the Auris Euterpe tube amp and iām loving it so far.
Itās got a very detailed and rich sound with the looks to match this could be my end game amp
Nice. I think my T5V sound a lot better up on my Soundrise stands than down on my desk.
They do sound more defined, if that makes sense.
Then that was a good purchase.
cheap purchase but, brand new dekoni choice suede hybrids for my beyersā¦ they just came out with this and I was dieing to try it after reading itās frequency chart changes. Just got them in today
