I’m gonna make it so the front license plate mount on my truck is bolted on rather then riveted on, and needed to snag some new screws, since the old screws where just missing for whatever reason.
I have heard those cables and normally I say “cables don’t matter”, but those were the first cables I purchased where I could hear a difference, and the difference wasn’t in the “good” direction. Just know the bass response with those cables is fairly lacking and IMO makes the sound thinner and brighter. Mind you, I noticed the most with an Abyss Diana Phi which is pickier but such things than some head phones.
Lol. Any fidelity loss i am getting with these cables (I hear no difference on my clears going with this cables adapted → 1/4" into Hugo2 vs stock focal cable) is far out weighted by just the pure fact im not using balanced on my balanced source
would like to hear your take on them after you’ve had enough time with them. A nice set of closed backs in on my future radar for later this year. Verite Close + Celestee + Abyss closed (pending) are all on my research list. Celestee would be nice on the wallet but hoping for near Clear performance.
t’was. Salmon, seaweed, edamame , fried tofu, japanese mayo, eel sauce on top of white rice hits different when all you’ve eaten all week is trash food.
Overall, yes they are very good. To me they have no bass. I have two songs that are my go to (Korn-Lies & Nine Inch Nails-Hersey) and the Celestee do not thump. Clears with those tracks and who needs women. The Celestee just cannot get the same response. Otherwise the Celestee sound very good with just the bass turned down.
Resolve mentioned that the Celestee took EQ’ing rather well. Have you tried increasing the base shelf tuning to see if you can get the bass dialed in to your taste?
