What did you buy today? (Part 1)

Pretty sure they are just the regular LS50s. Same retail price. If you’re in Canada @Marzipan said someone is selling them for $899 CAD

Just bought a couple sets of universe pads for the zmf aeolus (lambskin perforated and stock aeolus). The suede pads I got might end up being best all around, but I’m having fun  and wanna hear all the differences.

Was there anything indicating if the new pads are labeled? I know Zach said he was about to start doing that. He has so many pads, and the descriptions make it hard to know what you are buying

In the box for the verite lambskin perforated pads there is a card that says what they are written with a sharpie and the suede oval pads I got for my phantoms also had a card with what they were in the box (and I got those several months back, I think?) So, although the pads I bought should look very similar, they should be clearly labeled in their boxes. At least, I think I’m answering your question but I might be interpreting it wrong.

Well, not today but more like this month. I have bought the BLON BL-03s just to see it for myself if it will exceed my expectations of it. Due to that, bye bye open backs for now, was going to buy myself some Philips SHP9500s.

Well, I hope it’s worth it for you lol :+1:

I don’t think you will be disappointed (especially for the price)

Hopefully that gives you time to consider other options. I’m seriously not a fan of the 9500’s myself

so Glad I’m not into physical music as much as I am into gear. That would be the tipping point for me to becoming broke to where I am now…poor

Beck reminds me of Bowie where it takes me time to get used to whatever new thing he is trying. I don’t always end up loving his albums, but I always appreciate them more than I do initially. Modern Guilt is maybe the only record I liked out of the gate
