niceeeeee, thnx ill read it in a sec. curious about it
These just arrived - first impression is a VERY open HP, they are heavier than most HPâs, and a build quality far better than the plastic hell others have. They look like high quality. feels like high quality and are stunning to look at. (I didnât get the exact look, I was aiming at)
The wire is heavy and also very nice, but a bit stiff.
Looking forward to find out how the sound and compare to my other HPâs.
I donât want to be that guy again but please remove the lid when playing vinyl⌠Itâs just bad for regas. The rega engineers designed them to be used without the lid. It will sound better and isnât as dangerous for your vinyl.
Your Turntable looks great! The rega preamp is very nice⌠I guess the next thing is a better cartridge, 3mm spacer and Exzenter tonearmweight. You are welcome to contact me when the time comes.
If I have more time, I will do a Rega upgrade guide.
I have a cat⌠so i keep it on and closed most of the time. Otherwise I would.
Definitely will look into some rega upgrades in the near future. =)
oh, i know the problem too well ⌠When my cat was still alive, I placed the record player in a closet with sliding doors in front of it.
The Rega cartridge is very good, but investing additional 200 will make a big improvement.
The nice thing is you are able to select a cartridge that matches your preferred sound signature and the type of vinyl you have.
Probably the most rugged looking headphone Iâve ever seen
Everything is metal, wood or leather, so there is not much finesse just craftmanship.
I like the look because it is different than most HPâs - itâs a Russian tank
@XyleFBB they are different from your Vali set as you have gen. 2
Canât wait to hear what you think of the sound. Mine have a tiny bit more finesse being Gen 2, but when I see them on my desk or grab for them, I always think they have a premium look to them for sure.
Just bought the RNHP and Enog 2 pro dac⌠A lot sooner than I expected haha.
Can someone link me to some good xlr interconnects that I can use to connect the two. Amazon preferable. Donât Want to spend alot either.
Great choice youâll be very happy with it.
I love that the guy with the 6 figure home studio and a 75 pound DAC is recommending $10 cables.
Iâm not in the âaudiophile cableâ camp. But if I was that is all I would need to convince me otherwise.
Hey itâs 130 pounds for your information lol
Iâm not really in the audiophile cable camp either, it doesnât really make sense value wise unless you have a 6 figure setup lol
You know I almost typed 130 lbs, but that sounded too heavy and I didnât want to overstate so I second guessed myself.
Hahaha.
Welcome to the club!
BTR5 and multiple cables so that I can use all my gear in any configuration I wantâŚ
Purchased a bunch of new toys.
ROG AX11000 Tri-Band Wifi 6 router
HP Omen Transceptor bag
HP Omen 17" 9750H RTX 2080
2TB NVMe SSD
2x16gb CL15 Ram
Game pad
Logitech G PRO
Thunderbolt Hub
Q5s with THX AAA module
HD 660s
I have NH Carbons coming in tomorrow
BTR5 also coming in tomorrow
The HD 660s were as a âNew in open boxâ at 360$ but after further inspection these have been either refurbished or they are counterfeit in some kind of way. They are going back tomorrow. They also did not have the made in Ireland stamp on the inside of the headband. Also skweeeeeeeeeeeeky AF.
The Q5s is currently sold out everywhere online and i am hard pressed to just return it. I was wondering if i should try and resell it on the second hand market. I have only had it for less than a week. The BTR5 and an Enog2+Archel2.5 PRO stack will replace it.
This acrylic record mat combined with the glass platter when playing a 10" vinyl has quite the lovely appearance imo.
Got me the strangest woman
Believe me this trickâs no cinch
But I really get her going
When I whip out my big ten inchRecord of a band that plays the blues
Well a band that plays its blues
She just love my big ten inch
Record of her favorite blues
Jokes aside, it looks lovely Giova.
The turntable, I mean.
