So far itās been great! I have yet to mess around and try different headphones but right now it hasnāt disappointed. One reason I considered this was from your recommendation and I also wanted to be a guinea pig in trying something new that not a lot of people have a review on.

Was it a fun place to visit? Itās semi-close to me. Well, more like 1.5 hrs each way, but worth it if itās a good experience.
Have you been there? I think itās worth while to listen to all of their new headphone amps. They have a room to demo the speaker amps as well.
You probably could spend an entire day there. They had surfaces with some music (Iām not sure if they were lossy or not), but you could login to your preferred streaming service.
This was six months ago and half their headphones.

Nice what do you think of the fostex? I donāt see many people go for that anymore because of its lower power but it is a pretty solid amp and dac if you donāt need a bunch of power
Also curious to see how well the ANC works on the Phillips

Iāll need more time with the Fostex amp. Love the Burr Brown. I like the footprint, but Iām starting to see its limitations.
Iām a little meh on the PH805 out of the box. They are comfortable, has decent passive isolation, but came with no charge to try out ANC, so I need to charge with a micro-usb 
Sounds fun though. It has the Fidelio bass and I donāt find it muddy like the X2, but that is super initial impressions and I donāt anything to compare it to right now.

Picked up a used Rega phono preamp for a good price. Have not really ABed it with the Uturn Plutoā¦ But its a pretty obvious improvement just in terms of pure power and having a stronger cleaner line level signal from the cartridge.

It was a good experience. Actually very relaxing, there was only one person working but otherwise they let you do as you please and they have a good selection of headphones to test with as well. Iām glad I went and if they ever release anything new that would be the reason to go back. It does feel like the store is in the middle of no where though.

Different animals lol.
Yeah I considered the Benchmark, but it didnāt come in black. So I donāt think it would sound as good or fast as the Fostex.
