At least they are good somewhere.

Is VR worth investing to yet? Or is it still too early?

If you enjoy the current content itā€™s worthwhile, otherwise not.
Elite Dangerous was enough for me to jump
Skyrim and to a lesser extent Fallout arenā€™t bad, a lot depends on if you can deal with teleport style motion, and how quickly you get VR sick.

I have the Samsung odyssey. Itā€™s a nice system. Has akg headphones attached and it has the same resolution as the Vive proā€¦ In think you can get this for around $300 ish right now.

Itā€™s fun, I wouldnā€™t spend a ton of money on it though.

IMO, the best route to go for VR right now is the Oculus Quest. It gives the access to most software out of the boxā€¦ and has great inside out trackingā€¦ so you get room-scale VR without having to setup any external sensors. It works as a stand-alone headset, which works and feels greatā€¦ with no extra wires attached. And it also works as a PC headset with a USB cable (have to buy the right kind of cable) and lets you play all the PC VR games, including stuff exclusive to Oculus. And it cost $400.

PSVR has a few really good games on it though tooā€¦ Astro Bot Rescue Mission is like the feeling you get playing Mario 64 for the first time. Itā€™s VERY good. And I personally really liked Deracine, story driven VR game by the same creator who made Bloodbourne, Sekiro, And Dark Souls. Itā€™s very different from those of course, but itā€™s easily the most impactful narrative Iā€™ve played in VR.

Moss has a fantastic, cute story line. The steam vr lab is by far the most impressive looking vr Iā€™ve seenā€¦ And they have Half-Life Alex coming soonā€¦ thatā€™s probably going to change vr gaming as we know it

Itā€™s almost kind of annoying how good Steam VR Lab isā€¦ it sets expectations so highā€¦ And some stuff has been very solid and good, but nothing else has really matched it. lol
Definitely looking forward to Alyx

Itā€™s here!

Lookin good

Nice! Tell us what you think.

Yes, do tell and what did you have before.

just started listening so i wonā€™t say anything yet. Iā€™ll give it a day. Also Iā€™m coming from a monolith thx 788 desktop that i used as combo amp/dac for the last 6 months and Topping D10 I used for my speakers and Darkvoice. The Enog2pro is now doing everything. chain is looking like this;

Enog2pro (XLR Balanced) -> RNHP -> Focal Clear

Enog2pro (RCA SE) -> Emotiva Basx A-100 -> KEF Q100
(Emotiva Passthrough outputs) -> Darkvoice 336SE -> HD 6xx

Pretty nice setup. Anybody have advice on what i should set the voltage (gain?) on the Enog at? it comes with 3 settings, trying to figure out what is best. does it affect SQ at all?

So personally I think sounds the best in middle gain imo

Same here! Iā€™m curious if you can go back to the THXā€¦ Iā€™m used to the RNHP now and its hard to go backā€¦ like literally.

I flip between the high and middle gain depending on the amp.

we will see, I plan to a/b this RNHP/enog setup with the 788 in the next few days. I also want to do a dac comparison between the enog and d10 using the RNHP.
