I thought about it, but nah. I’ll save, max, $20 if it even goes on sale. It’s just not worth it to me. I’m buying anything else for 11.11 either, so I’ll eat the possible 10% savings so I can get it sooner.
Maybe it’s silly, but whatever. Not to mention, I feel like it could get back ordered like the BTR7 did back in the day, and I’d rather not take the chance.
Doubt a brand new product would, but I expect you would be able to use discount codes
Not sure if you get 20 usd off though, those codes are usually if you spend 200 usd, although in that case I would try to find something worth under 10 usd to add to the cart and then you get that 20 usd off discount.

Ordered a headrest for my Herman Miller Aeron chair, bought a clone Atlas headrest from taobao for like 30 usd lol. Would have cost me 300 usd in total to import the real one from the US.
A few upgrades to try. First, i was running Sophia 6SN7 tubes with a Sophia 274B rectifier. This was VERY tubey. Tubish?? Almost slow. Warm and melow as sounding drunk. If that even makes sence. So still love tube but i wanted a little more up front and not as laid back. So, the 274B now works with mid 1940’s Sylvania 6SN7 metal base tubes. That kept the fat tube sound but more lively. Next i replaced the THX 789 with a Sparkos Gemini. I had to replace the stock tube with an NOS Amperex ECC88 6DJ8. Same specs but a better quality tube. So, DMP A6 to Gemini pre to Dragon Inspire. Warm as room with a fireplace but more full sound all round.
Lot came in this week, mainly yesterday and today:
Beyerdynamic DT1990: I still think these are the best model they make, tried everything except the new MKII models coming out soon.
7hz Timeless: The original one, not the AE with the lame/dull bass response. This is fun and no treble fatigue.
Topping D90SE: Terrific with the A70Pro on filter 7. The tube/transistor settings didn’t seem to make much difference though, not like the SMSL DO300 which changes the 2nd and 3rd harmonics and you can hear it.
Schiit Vali 3: I wanted to like it, and tried a different tube, but it’s just not analog enough. Had the Monoprice and next will be to go with a real tube amp with preamp out and see how it goes.
SMSL H300: Using this until 11/11 and I order the new H400. Sold one and immediately regretted it The A70Pro I have is really nice, but like the H400 for it’s simple operation on the menu, no remote required to figure it out.
It does add it automaticall for all purchases below 150 EUR afaik, and since that was higher it was deduced on payment. And may be added on import while in customs depending on the declared value and pure luck in Poland.
I was going through my CD collection, and I realized that I had no Crosby, Stills and Nash in it. The ones I had got destroyed or lost over the years. So I corrected that problem.
This is a special 4-CD box set that contains all kinds of previously unreleased tracks or unreleased alternate versions of many songs. The booklet that comes with it is fantastic. I like box sets for this reason. What a great addition to the collection.
This and 5 sets of 7hz H08 eartips (ones that came with the Timeless.)
As for Magic Juan over here with the ePro tips, they’re the better version of the Penon Serial, imo. They underperform in busier genres, but excel when vocals are up-and-center.
*Also should mention how perfect the medium-sized ePro tips are (ended up ordering more.) Benefits IEMs like this and the Z1R for getting a deeper fit without having to go the double/triple flange route. I’d be interested in ones with the same shape, but with a narrow bore.
