What did you buy today? (Part 2)

Having to pay for shipping back is absolutely brutal. I’m sorry you got hit with that, man. Jeez

Yah that’s a good call, I’d be interested in seeing if you get reimbursed, even partially. How could you receive a damaged unit, that may have been defective as well and have to pay the company to make it right?

That’s preposterous.

oh trust me i agree, the tube window thing alone im not quite sure how that got out, also im not sure how this would have went down if i asked for a replacement instead of a return so who know, guess we shall see

Ouch, that is not a good sign for QC and 66 usd for shipping??? wtf???
Is that with DHL express or something like that?

Either way, Hifigo should stand for this fee.

I shipped from the post office as it was close and open when I got off of work, not sure what it would have been elsewhere, I will def update if I get reimbursed but no return label was provided so I’m assuming I will be at least partially

I assume most chinese companies would ask you to send it first and then refund when they get it…in the best case scenario that is…

yes and i do see the point, i would rather pay for good shipping and know it has a good chance of getting there safely to get my refund than not, no push back either it was rather smooth for my first return with them

Okay, new guy here. Just gonna start by sharing my last purchase.

I needed new IEMs (my Tin T2 got FUBARed) but didn’t want to spend money. I like cheap stuff. So I stumbled upon the KZ KST and, them being so cheap, I got a pair.

Just out of the box I’m loving them and their punchy bass. And they’re CHEAP.

Welcome to the forum! Congrats on the new IEM. It is great to find a good set that is reasonably priced.

Got a coupon for the JoJos and apparently there was only one in stock at that price. I gotta say at $30 these are a no brainer.

I didn’t bought this from Amazon but, I bought this one from a different store, also I’ve bought the full-sized version since I am using a full-sized keyboard of this one’s shroud. Kind of a pointless purchase to be honest, but I wanted to make my current keyboard look right now a bit more clean to the eyes, since this uses floating keycaps instead.

I have fallen to the mechanical keyboard rabbit hole, especially with the recent keycaps that I got for my main keyboard as well, so help me god with this one.

WOW
This is damn good

Auto light adjustment
back light
A stand that actually stays put without needing extra adhesive
Light that has zero glare for my face/eyes while lighting up the whole desk in a great way (like they marketed)

yeah rip xiaomi, just pay a bit more for this Quntis Glow Pro (model nr LI-HY-0209-BK) and it is totally worth it. Just praying this lasts me longer than the xiaomi…

They even included the 3x AA batteries needed for the remote
Something the xiaomi didnt

the cable they included is also longer
i think it is 1.5m instead of like 1m from the xiaomi

Yeah no light coming to my face at all.

new Flexispot desk to possibly replace my old massdrop desk (bit bigger and hoping it’s more stable), a high profile case to tinker with my drop CTRL and some Drop CSTM80 parts, also a mesh chair to probably replace my secretlabs chair

The deed is done

I’ve been waiting for this one for a while.

(not gonna wait for 11/11?)

I thought about it, but nah. I’ll save, max, $20 if it even goes on sale. It’s just not worth it to me. I’m buying anything else for 11.11 either, so I’ll eat the possible 10% savings so I can get it sooner.

Maybe it’s silly, but whatever. Not to mention, I feel like it could get back ordered like the BTR7 did back in the day, and I’d rather not take the chance.

Doubt a brand new product would, but I expect you would be able to use discount codes

Not sure if you get 20 usd off though, those codes are usually if you spend 200 usd, although in that case I would try to find something worth under 10 usd to add to the cart and then you get that 20 usd off discount.
