I just used it for a recording on my reviews. My Bifrost 2 stopped working on me, but the DAC in my TA-30 remains strong.
I’ve listened a little through BT and sounds like a pretty good combo. Definitely has tube flavoring.
More music… Yay!

It is nice enough, but a bit stiff for a $40 cable, that said the lighter weight is nice.

I picked up a couple of cables. A nice balanced headphone cable for the Elegias from Sukira
I also got an Audioquest Cinnamon USB-C to USB-B cable. I’m gonna play around with using my phone as a player and connect to the Frost over USB. Should be interesting. This LG V40 may be old but it does good audio!

Thanks…I was trying to buy the prior iCan model but it was out of stock and I had a good deal lined up. So the rumor mill indicated this was coming…so wait and wait…
The price is higher for sure…looks pretty much the same amp, the tubes are “matched” precisely…hmm.
Wonder if the older one had matched tubes.
Some parts “improved”…and they are throwing in their fancy power iFi power suppply,IMO this is where the cost increase is for the most part…
The Pro DSD is getting ridicuosly high…think I will stay with the prior version I have thats only a few months old…the dac in it is stellar…

I use pretty much everything. 13 Pro Max and Z Flip 3 5G for main phones, ROG Flow X13, Samsung GBP 360, and Macbook Air M1 for laptops. Though I will say the iPhone is my daily driver for sure. Can’t beat the consistency.

The K371 came in yesterday and they will be staying… simple desk/work setup with the Asgard 3. I am very pleased. Now I just need to get a nice cable for them.
