I saw a set of Senn 660S headphones on sale and I thought I would give 'em a shot.

I wasn’t really expecting much; in fact I had them halfway out the door before they even got here. But much to my surprise, I like them! I mean I really like them. I don’t think they are going anywhere. I think these are going to be my classical set. definitely something you can do some critical listening with.

Schiit canceled my order so let’s try this again… Bifrost 2/Jot2 stack. I decided to get the Bifrost instead of the ESS card because I want to be done with source equipment for a while and once I get mobile and tubes sorted I will be.

I might regret missing out on some upcoming headphone sales (thankfully not interested in 11/11 stuff), but fuck it. I want the amp here before my T60 Argon, I can diversify later. If they cancel my order again I’ll just go with another company.

@lost33 The customer service rep said my order triggered some sort of fraud alert and they wouldn’t move forward without a certified paypal account. No idea what happened, my bank/credit card company didn’t hit me with an alert and they know nothing about it. The customer service rep was polite, but delayed and very terse, so I gave up on getting a satisfying answer. I guess their payment processor just doesn’t like me

A big thanks to @Nick_Mimi for sending over his modified DarkVoice for my HD660s! Great communication all the way through. Been listening for about 2 hours straight now and loving them, can’t wait to continue testing them out.
