Not sure about the delivery dates, but I made a couple impulse purchases over the last few days. Nothing huge, but my mail will be fun for the next couple weeks.
I think the 58X jubilee is a great value, and even though i have limited experience with more expensive headphones (currently i own a philips fidelio x2, hifiman HE-4XX, the 58X, a trio of KOSS (porta pro, kph30i and ksc75) with various mods and just got hold of a Sennheiser HD 6XX), i think to do significantly better you need to spend quite a lot of money.
…and as a bonus, they are easy to drive, so lately i have paired them with my fiio e10k olympus 2 usb dac/amp plugged into my laptop when watching netflix or youtube… pretty good setup that is partly mobile
I tend to agree, there are a few standouts that are pretty reasonably priced. My headphone collection reflects those from the last year or so, with the HE400se, SHP9500, and the KPH30i ( w/Grado pads ). Open backs are my personal time listening and gaming headphones.
Because of IEMs I have been using a Fiio BTR5 Amp. I bought it initially for the Bluetooth features, it just ended up being good at other things too.
IEMs are my workday solution both for weight and isolation. This summer I started getting into better IEMs, and the 7Hz Timeless is sort of a stand out there, along with the Tripowin Mele. I was a fan of the Aria sound, but they have not held up well enough to recommend them.
I have a mouse like that in terms of looks, but I hope dust won’t get into that one that much since mine has a lot now. Kind of ruins the look if it happens.
this mouse came with an extra set of covers that doesnt have the honeycomb holes. it was pretty jarring when it had the honeycombs, so i swapped it out immediately.
Yeah the honeycomb design is a pain, sure it makes your mouse feel light but I really don’t mind a mouse’s weight regardless if it’s heavy or light for all I care is a mouse that freaking works great overall. Also not to mention some might get grossed out by the design since you know, trypophobia for some people.
Tbh I mostly got this new mouse because the last two mice I had were the exact same brand & model, and both times, the left click died on me. I won’t specify the name because I don’t want to cause negative bias.
Having said that, I bought this mouse because I wanted to dip the very tip of my toe in another rabbit hole, and support a smaller company. And yes, I got the mouse because it said “pwnage”
This set from 11 took more than a month to arrive, and when it did I was away traveling. Just arrived today and after like 5 tracks I’m more than a happy customer. Even make up for the MMCX removal tool broken in the package.
Ordered a Retroid Pocket 2+ (Black) to close out the year. I’ve used my OLED PS Vita the past few years primarily for pocket emulation, but performance issues with some games have been irking me for a while. This looks like it’ll be a solid upgrade in that department, alone.
