It’s worth it for the budget and it’s a nice backup to have when you are not comfortable using your expensive IEMs outside like during commutes.

Booked our hotels for Capital Audiofest 2023 and sight seeing D.C, basically a his/hers trip. Very first audio show and first flight for her, knocking out some bucket list items for sure.

Picked up the Tin P1 (OG) and the Hifiboy OS V3 from the for sale thread here, grabbed a 2.5mm swappable tip for the cable on my Fiio FF3s, put in an order for some more of my favorite copper earbud shells and some more drivers from NSC Audio on AliE, and ordered a nice compact regulated soldering iron because the one I use in my shop is pretty bulky and I’m hoping to be able to use this one to do some earbud builds while on the road for months at a time.

The bass is impressive, still getting used to the presentation and listening on different sources, the S12 made me a believer in burn in so im gonna give this awhile. Using spin fits at the moment.
I settled with AZLA Xelastec, best tips ever if you ask me

ZMF Perforated Suede pads for muh Tygrs. Purchased with confidence based on my experience w/ ZMF Perf Suede pads for my 6XX.
From what I can remember from stock pads, they sound very similar. Also, they feel less scratchy compared to Dekoni’s Elite Velour.

Ordered some Moondrop Illuminations off of Audio 64 early this morning on HBB’s recommendation as part of my search for the best sub $1k single DD IEM. When they all get here, I’ll have the Dunu Zen Pro, SoftEars Twilight, and Illumination facing off. This is gonna be FUN!

Exactly, this is a pre-owned set that I bought. However, I think you can still find new ones at Moon Audio. I’m not sure how many but they say new ???
