Just got a new cable for my recently acquired HD25.
I‘m only waiting for a small DDhifi dac and then my portable setup is complete.
It’s way more portable than my Aeon Noires with the portable topping amp (obviously) and believe it or not: sound quality is not that much worse compared.
I wonder why nobody talks about the HD25. With those Yaxi pads they’re pretty hard to beat for 100€

TBH I’m just glad it got here with all our postal strikes at the mo…so if it’s the new year then what a way to start 2023

I have been waiting for these for a couple weeks. Shipping is rough this time of year.
After they get closer to room temperature, I will try them out, but I don’t want weird issues due to the temp being -15 right now.

I also tend to let things warm up for at least an hour if we’re single-digits or lower outside; May be overly cautious, but I feel like it’s worth the wait.
