Got a pair of Letshuoer S12 2024 in today and after owning the ARTTI T10s and S12 OG, I kinda knew what to expect, but this new driver is definitely a step up in overall technicalities. I’m really really liking them with TRI Clarion tips.
Was on the fence about getting them and waited too long until they started selling out. Did a search and found them online from a pawn store and they were given them unopened but had to open them to make sure they were actually in the box lol. Price was $120 and I still wasn’t fully convinced but I saw it was serial number 612 and my birthday is 6/12 so I caved lol.
There’s something inside of me that NEEDS to wait for the BTR17 before pulling the trigger but if the FiiO doesn’t have any special about it and it’s around the same price, I’m buying the muse asap.

I saw the announcement on FB this morning for the M5 and the first thing I thought of was if you were going to pull the trigger right away or not… you did not disappoint
I saw that FiiO was saying end of Oct. or beginning of Nov. Probably right in time for 11/11 if I had to guess.

Ya im making a list for 11.11, not sure what im after yet but want to be prepared, it does seem like that or a holiday launch makes sense, iv been super happy with the BTR 15, i think these new gens are a nice step up in features

The one thing that bugs me about Muse is that they don’t disclose the power output on a lot of their devices… On the M4 they did, but none of the M3 promo Material ever did and It looks like they’re going back to it with the M5…
Ill look around but i did find this review, guys running HD650’s at about 75% volume, 300ohm load balanced so im assuming good power draw. I’m running all planar iems so ill def put it against my desktop to see bass energy.
Wow, that’s pretty decent then honestly. I won’t be powering any full sized HPs from a portable source anytime soon, but just nice to have that kind of headroom for CanJam.
Picked up another case just to organize tips, going through Spinfits range, really like the W1’s for fit. Also picked up a USB-C to spdif optical converter so I just have to switch inputs on the jtech instead of usb. Still USB on the iPad for now until I upgrade. All optical or coax digital now, removing barriers has been fun.
Was curious to try, but also wanted a pair I could bring around and not worry as much about tossing around. I try and baby the HEKSE (and most of my headphones in general).
