Bought an LED strip to put behind my monitor, but the LEDs are pretty distinct. So I ordered a version with COB lights and Zigbee/Tuya support so should be able to automate it. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007264243218.html
Some footers for the K11, thanks for the rec @ZeosPantera, decided to upgrade to the new entry iPad so I could be all USB-C and a nice little Belkin 3 in one to tidy things up, happy Saturday boys
The original intent was to bring in the latest ESS implementation for the bedroom system, where it would replace the M200 that is in there now, but I am not sure the bedroom system is ever gonna see this thing! I have it connected to the AMP-F2 running the speakers as a test, and I am super impressed right out of the box. Absolutely amazing. More to come in the appropriate thread.
No, not at all. In fact, it is actually cold to the touch, and the AMP-F2 offers just a hint of warmth when you place your hand on it. this is an Incredibly efficient pairing. The new ESS chips are producing stunning fidelity across the range. I’m extremely impressed with it so far.
Just got to work and set up the Charge 5, sundays are always light on people so I really get to test this thing out, Tipper is already vibrating the desk.
Oh ya I’m really impressed for the price fits my use case perfectly, they have a party mode where you can link two for stereo, I’m absolutely gonna be that guy down the road.
Problem: iPad usb cable sticks out too far, possible damage, unsightly.
Solution: L-shaped connector to hide wire and avoid damage, fixing problems errday
I’ve wanted this keyboard for so long, I realize most of the functionality is pc only but I can live with it, bought the Deathadder to try at work but may just buy the white Mx master 3 and complete the studio white setup
As for quick impressions, the Wan’er is my favorite of the sub-$100 budget picks I’ve owned… but the S12… Probably b/c I had UK Garage on, but the thing SLAPS while managing to skirt right under my treble tolerances.
*Also should mention that the 2024 edition comes with a fidget toy/medallion and some other goodies. This somewhat gaudy packaging reminds me a bit of the AMT16 unboxing experience, an IEM post-mod that sounds like it has its pinna gain in the same spot. There are aspects of this ver. of the S12 that I like over that and the Z1R (and I didn’t have to stuff it with cotton like the Z12.) Anyway, singing high praises which will probably change with more listening time.
imo gaming brand stuff isn’t worth buying these days, unless you use their software features.
so many smaller brands that sell better boards for cheaper or get a hotswap case and throw switches in it.
but if you like it you like it
This was purely off of looks and the wrist rest, I haven’t gotten into keyboard deep dives at all but would like to learn more, especially different key types, feel, sound etc…
I’m also super land locked in a small town so Best Buy is the only hands on I get, sucks for audio as well so I’m limited
