Got these bookshelf speakers. Great sound for the price.
Also got these for as a birthday present for myself. All I can say is it’s my endgame for the time being. Using Divinus velvet tips on them and a 24 core Silver-plated cable with 4.4 balanced termination.
Both of these are being fed by my FiiO K11.

One of my tubes for an FX-Audio Tube-03 preamp is causing trouble, So I got myself a pair of these as replacement:
They look a little wide, might have to do some grinding.
Most importantly though, they cost about as much as the entire amp did XD.
But it was that or go full amp with a balanced Tor audio or something, so I wanted to see if I could even hear any difference. If I decide to give that a shot, this will be a drop in the bucket by comparison. Might have to get a bit drunk on christmas to convince myself it is a good idea.
update
turned it wasn’t the tube, it was the power supply that needed replacing.

not sure what stock tubes that comes with but 5654’s are tiny and says it should be compatable lol
Ordered some socket savers for my 2025 tube rolling on the Vali 3 and the upcoming Valhalla 3.

My QoA Adonis New finally came in. I bought a nice purple Hakugei cable for it, but pictures were a bit misleading. In reality the cable is VERY pink… Still, I kind of like the look. I’m keeping it.

I had the same Hakugei cable! I kind of wish I kept it for my Adonis New as well, but it went with my EXTs I sold. It’s a really nice cable imo.
Anyways, I’m looking forward to your impressions, brother. I’ll reserve how I feel about them for now…

Yeah, I’m still doing some initial listening. So far I’m surprised to be finally hearing a Kinera (affiliated) set that seems to be a enjoyable. Not exactly a detail monster though.

I bought these tips directly from Penon Audio and I must say, these tips are so weird and odd. And yeah from what I am seeing from these tips it doesn’t fit on IEMs that have really large and thick nozzles for these are more compatible with iems that are either narrow or regular in terms of the size.
But when it fits, for me it fits just right, specifically on my Performer 5+2 for I am still in that process of tip rolling. I cannot choose between the W1 and these, for both provide the fit and comfort that I want and as well as the sounds. But, the Propeller tips from ePro seems to provide more soundstage to the 5+2s, while the W1 provides more on the comfort side for the Propeller tips for me are just weird when it comes to the fit but it works in my ears so well.

They fit, but on both these and the stock tubes I have to bend the pins to get them to engage and not miss the socket.
LOL those tips are really like sharingans, but then again it’s so weird and unique for me in my ears. And it’s working so well surprisingly on my Hidizs Mp145s right now and those are tough to find a proper fit for me.

28 days later and I now have the Gjallarhorn. First it was on backorder until December 18th (I think). Then with the holiday’s, the US Postal Service took several days longer than normal to deliver it. I’m not complaining by any means. I’m just glad it wasn’t lost.
I have it hooked up on my desk now, and starting to have a listen with it.
For a small device, it is hefty! I like it.
