I still love my BT20xs. The nuclear battery lasts for weeks. I use it daily at home for podcasts and YouTube with my old BL-05.

Yeah…the TRN BT30 Pro is pure junk. The BT signal in it is much worse than the older BT20XS, I must have had more lags/disconnects (one side misses 1 second of music while the other is still playing) in one trip than the 20xs has in a whole month.
Combine that with the fact that it feels like you are carrying a bomb (announcement voice bomb)…

Finally getting to try this “legendary” headphone.
It’s really interesting when playing with EQ! Regardless of what you do it, it maintains some unique sound stage characteristics. This isn’t always the case.
Update:
Where I’ve landed for EQ on the HD800S. Flat response with an upward tilt towards the sub-bass from the ear-gain. Default ear-gain sounds nicer than trying to push it towards Harman on these, IMO. From there, just tamed the 6k peak and filled in some of the missing mid-treble. They go from B-tier with nice soundstage to an easy A+/S with nice soundstage. Very large, extremely light, and comfy! Just need a better cable for these now.

I have yet to try the HD800s myself, but maybe one day. I would love to try it on an OTL tube amp.

Azurys, picked up an open box. Have not had a chance to hear, but extremely comfortable.
Also received FiiO BTR17. Has 10 band PEQ. Plan to play with this later too. Will try with the Azurys and see how it drives some higher end headphones too.

Eh I already found the tubes I like. Thankfully I like thin precise with clear dry attack and decay texture with decently wide soundstage so the stock thin walled chinese KT88 suits me best.
Sure it’s like 120sgd every 3 to 4 years but honestly it’s nothing to what tube people pay.
