This was my feeling too. I wasn’t sure if I was picking up some unevenness in the midrange, but overall, it is a pleasant listen.

I actually bought 3 items in total this year so far. The first one is the OnePlus 13 CN ver. and yes I modified the phone by converting it to the Global version for I am just having a bit of a hard time using the one with the Color OS version. Second one would be this mouse pad from a local brand called Macveth Artisan as you can see from this picture and yeah the one being shown as the third one is the Juzear Defiant.

For the price of 100USD, the Defiants are really tuned well and now I can see why there are some people who are impressed by this set and all I can say is a job well done from Juzear and Zeos for creating a great tuned set.

I need more further listening with these on and some tip rolling might help improve some things that I am not much of a fan of the Defiants.

Got the Teevolution Terra Pro with the 8k Dongle bundle as a replacement for my Lamzu Thorn. I love the Lamzu Thorn but I do miss the G703 shape in my hands as I have big hands and the Thorn is a bit small for me.

Got this Prime lens as a on the go small and lightweight glass for EDC street photography.

Another on the go small and lightweight Prime lens for EDC street photography and video.

Next try after the Noire XO. Audio Technica ADX3000.

What I did not like about the Noire XO was the weight of over 420g and that they were more semi open than really open and airy like Hifiman planars.

The ADX3000 is much better in this regard. Weighing at just 250g and totally open back. If you partially cover the back of the cups with your hand the sound changes just like these hifiman egg shape do. Think I never had this with a dynamic driver before (not sure if I tried it with the HD800)

They don’t have the bass shelf of the Noire XO and roll off like most open back dynamics but they take a 12dB iFi xBass-like EQ very well.

Stock cable needed to be replaced immediately. 3m long, 6.35mm plug and quite springy. Noire XO was better.

Comfort and build has some downsides. While they are light, they also clampy (out of the box, can stretch this out of course).
Ear pads opening should be bigger, measuring just 55mm. Inside the pads the earlobe can go behind the pad, so effectively it ends up around the typically 60mm.

Biggest negative point for someone with a smaller head is that the ear cups can’t tilt enough on the smaller settings. Without a extra headband the top end of the cups will press against my head while the lower part doesn’t seal.

I still have a geekria headband around from the hifiman XS days. It is not wide enough to go around the two headband bars but it can sit in between them and hold onto the high adjustment sliders a little bit.

Checked the Capra comfort straps and saw there is one for the R50x. Contacted Capra if they would fit the Adx5000 / Adx3000 too but they said it won’t. They said they are trying to get their hands on one to create a new strap and would come back to me. 3 days later I got a mail that they are available now, ordered one and hope it will arrive soon.

It has been a couple of days ever since I’ve bought it. What can I say, color me impressed for its given budget and I am more satisfied with it compared to the previous I had owned and those were more expensive than that one. Worth every penny and yes I love the aesthetics and design of the mouse pad. Keep up the good work on making quality products.

Got my Lily58 keyboard.

Good on you for knowing how to touch-type. Typing alone is becoming a lost art let along blind touch-typing.

Touch type aint much of a problem. but split keyboard is a huge change gonna take a long time to adjust

my only question is “why?”

I mean whats the benefit of such a keyboard. Why the hastle of relearning it? I´m totally not in the keyboard game so do not really understand the appeal.
Is it ergonomics, or what for do you need a split keyboard?

Much more ergo

Alice style is a bit easier to use though.

I never got used to having a split ergo. But I do love this build. low profile, hot swappable and a clear bottom. Is this VIA or just pure QMK?

I do have RSI (Cubital tunnel syndrome) so I need more mouse desk space than keyboard. I tried the ZSA Moonlader before.

Works with both

Tried vertical mouse?

Yup never liked using those especially for the latency. Even with RawAccel it still feels sluggish for part of my workflow. I tried the ProtoArc EM11 NL, Delux M618DB, Logitech MX Vertical Advanced, and Razer Pro Click V2 Vertical.

Aside from having big hands which limits the mouse options I have, so I went and got the Teevolution Terra Pro which is an ergo mouse that has what I’m looking for shape, weight and latency.

Damn rip. I got the M5 but waiting for some grip tape first.
